I had the Hanoi noodles and they were OK. Prefer the vermicelli noodles at Di and Di - way better and meat is more flavorful... there. The people working there were nice - but I just felt the dish lacking in composition and flavor. My bf?s pho was good tome. We also got the larb wings and I just felt like the larb flavor was very minimal. Also the crispy wings were okay. They werecrispy but I found some of the wing meat to have a weird taste maybe from being frozen or reheated. I cannot be for sure, butnot a fan. Finally - a Singha is $9 there. Considering it is more of a fast food - order at the counter and the food is broughtto you kind of place - found this a little high. Read more

This review is for the chef?s table at Baoburg only. The spread of food we received was fantastic. Everything was so delicious.... There is an insane amount of food for 6 people? we took a lot home and it still looked like we barely put a dent in it. We leftthe hotpot for last because it was sooooo hot outside so we weren?t really in the mood for something like that, but once wetasted it- Omg- so delicious. Our only complaint was that we asked for a table indoors when booking and they confirmed that, buton the night of our reservation, we were told that it had to be outside due to lack of space in the restaurant. The restaurantis tiny, so that made sense, but we weren?t psyched to eat outdoors in 80+ degree weather. Just be aware that if you are comingfor this, it?s outside seating only so plan accordingly. We had some great drinks from the bar. It wasn?t immediately obviousthat you had to physically go to the bar and order and get them yourself. We didn?t mind, but we hadn?t dined here before and noone let us know how to get any beverages with the meal. Overall great experience and a lot for your money and really delicious. Read more

Always wanted to try this place out, and no regrets when I finally did. Went to dine in with the wife. The food was super... tasty, super filling at rhe right price. For whatever reason ordering at the counter was cheaper than ordering through the web.On the web the bill was going to be 48 without tips and when I ordered at the counter the bill was 45 with tip. I ordered padThai with mock duck and my wife ordered rib Ramen with mock duck instead. Both plates were scrumptious. The pad Thai was sofilling I had to take the rest home for a round two lol. The duck Ramen was also a lot but we didn't take home. They have apatio out in the back. It was relaxing. Good thing the place wasn't so busy at the time I went. The menu didn't have that manyselections, but that's a good thing. That means they can focus on perfecting a few plates vs a million plates that tastegeneric. Read more

We?ve been loving and craving Baoburg a lot lately! The first time we ordered, we did a lot of dishes to sample everything but... it was a lot of food. If you?re going to eat here you HAVE to do the Bao buns. I would skip on the pad Thai and fried rice, theywere good but there are better places in the neighborhood for those two dishes. The next time we ordered we skipped on the maindishes and just stuck to an assortment of their Bao buns. Favorites include the classic, steak, and shrimp tempura! Read more

Hidden Greenpoint diamond. Inconspicuous from the outside, a small restaurant has a secret interior and a second hidden diamond... in its center, i.e. a green patio or, as it is called, a backyard. Nice and polite service. Fast service. What we ordered wasvery tasty, i.e. Singapore noodles with chicken and small prawns, strongly fragrant curry and pad thai with large tiger prawns. All BAOs from the menu also seemed interesting, and we will definitely come back to them. I highly recommend this place forbrunch or a quick dinner. Read more

Got a little bit of everything. Definitely pricey. A lot of good flavors here. I wish it was a little cheaper. Skip the drinks,... the containers are not worth the value. The pork belly bun was really good. The rib eye meat in the pho was good. Pho was notyour typical style. Be warned. They did not have duck and offered chicken instead, but for the same price. Errr. A peaceful spot hidden in Greenpoint. As you can see by the photos the food is fresh and well presented. Lovely lady who took... our order. The Baos were so delicious. Their dishes are quite filling. We went during lunch and sat in the backyard which hastwo sections, one open and one closed. Inside is very quite and cozy. Read more
