Today decided to try Ay Kebab. I believe 2yrs in the neighborhood. I will start by saying I was very impress by the friendly... employees and how they keep everything spot on cleaning after every customer and making sure all is straight and neat. Bathroomwas. small and clean. Restaurant has nice decor and set-up inside and out. I ordered the small plate of Chicken Adana . Thelarge plate is huge. I will say enought for 2. First came the bread, my goodness it was nice hot and crispy, sooo good..then thechicken with rice and salad. Best rice ever had. By the way the pepper on my plate was super hot!!!! If you're looking for good quality Turkish food in Bay Ridge, look no further than Ay Kebab! The restaurant is right on the busy... corner of 86th street and 4th Ave. Their portions are generous and easy to share! I got the Calf liver to start, it wasamazing, nice and crisp but still soft inside and the flavors were great. Next we got the Sausage and Cheese Pide and the cheesewas perfectly gooey and the sausage had great flavor. ( Looks like pepperoni but taste better!) After that we shared the mixedgrill plate, it came with four different meats and lamb chops, rice and salad! Great place for Turkish food! Read more
This Turkish restaurant is small, cozy with nice ambiance. Our server was friendly. Food was good too, though it has room for... improvement. Calamari in salad were burned a bit, and Adana kebab was not as juicy and tasty as original in Turkey,Antalya. Appetizer plate and sweets were good. Read more
