The new waitress Mari has a very Poor attitude and No Customer service skills we have been coming to this Diner since I was a... child and never had any problems with any of the waiters everyone was always very professional and customer friendly! Notanymore! Which is terrible! I will No longer be a customer after 20something years of patronage to this one and 39th st! Waitedover 30mins and she kept clearing tables and not seating us mind you I am Nine months pregnant standing and waiting!!! Neveragain!! Read more
Good good and generous portions. and 24h(!), but this last time - in which it was not busy at all - I had poor service inside.... It took 3 reminders to the waitress to get coffee after I communicated it as part of my order twice, no refill on water afterasking, and took my food away while still eating it (didn?t even ask). Likely a new server, but please train your staff onfollow-through, not just for the customer experience but also for the staff?s professional success. However, past/other severshave been excellent. Many changes to this diner since one year ago. Definitely, Covid secured. A new and very friendlier staff. The food, as always... was very delicious and service, very attentive. Pics says it all... Um Yum! Read more
Awesome local diner! This place has kind of a retro feel which is really cool, it definitely feels like stepping into a real... diner in the 70\'s.\n\nI\'ve been here a few times and the food has been pretty good every single time. They usually have dailyspecials that come with a soup. Most of their food is good but I particularly recommend their chicken tacos. They\'re very tastyand come with a pretty good spicy salsa.\n\nThe service is very good. It feels like you\'re part of the family when you\'rehere. During one of he times I was here, the waitress asked me what vegetable I wanted even though my dish didn\'t come withone. She came by later to tell me that it wasn\'t usually included in the dish but since she asked me which one I wanted shewould bring it by and not charge for it.\n\nThey also have pretty good donuts! I always get (my usual) the salmon filet meal with mashed potatoes and sautéed broccoli or spinach. It\'s my absolute favorite... meal to get here and it\'s very delicious!! Great place to dine in with or without company. Only downfall is that they only takecash so be sure to have cash on you. They also have an ATM inside. Read more
