I came to the punch bowl for dine out Boston. I started with the carppacio. It was prepared like a salad and was delicious. The... next course was the burger that was cooked perfectly and finally ended with a peach cobbler. The only reason I didn't give it 5stars was because our food came out before our cocktails. We had 15 people meeting for a lunch prior to a Sox game. We didn’t want to eat near Fenway. This place is a simple 25 minute... walk. 1. Extremely efficient and responsive scheduling by events staff. 2. Lunch menu looked good, and ended up tasting evenbetter. Chicken sandwich was excellent; people couldn’t get enough of the fries. The salad was perfect for summer And fresh.The Margherita pizza hit the spot. Finished with some apple crisp that was really tasty! 3. Server was attentive 4. Price wasreasonable 5. I am very fond of the restaurant and the staff here. I had to organise last minute dinner for 28 of my Harvard Med School class... mates and Punch Bowl team bent over backwards to collocate a great patio evening party for my friends. The cocktails are overpriced and its missing it’s key ingredients???? no mixed drinks for sure Thankfully the calamari and the... wraps were were fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a try! Will go back. The staff were by nice but service is slow. Read more
Ate their entire menu over two trips. Ceviche was amazing. Pork chop and steak where great. Burger needed more black garlic and... salt. Desserts where fantastic, especially the lemon cake. Everything else was overlying salted so I can’t say how tasty itwas. Main issue they need to deal with is consistency. Some days staff is great sometimes not. All the dishes have the potentialto be great but are under or over seasoned. If they get it together they have a ton of potential. Read more
