The bar is a cool spot, for a small local bar and the staff are super nice and a lot of fun. With a decent list of beers but... nothing super special just a number of options. Food.....so portion size is decent. The apps was really where its at. Theywhere all really good. Main courses are hit and miss. I think just stick to the burgers as these went down well. In 10 years of living in Boston I have not felt the absolute need to submit a review until now. The owner was extremely rude,... disrespectful, and aggressive without any provocation. My partner and I were seated on a table for 4 by the host, waiting forour friends to join (they were running late). No one catered to us - no menu provided, no water, or any acknowledgement of ourpresence. After about 30 minutes the owner came to our table and yelled at us to leave so he could sit another party of 3. Wewere dumbfounded and tried to understand why he felt the need to kick us out without offering us the opportunity to orderanything or wait for the rest of our party to arrive. He said that it was his restaurant and he could do whatever he wants withhis business - this was not a negotiation and we had to leave otherwise he was going to call the cops to escort us out. As ablack man I was forced to leave in this undignified manner to avoid an unnecessary encounter with the police. I don?t thinkanyone, black, white or brown deserves to be treated this way and I would not wish this experience on any human being. Read more
