We waited at the ordering box for 10 minutes as they said they were short staffed. Ok fine. Then we get to the window and 1 guy... is walking around and 1 guy is on his phone. We ordered 2 nacho fries, they made 1 order and put it in 2 cups. We would wait,just tell us to pull around to make another. Also I have never gotten a spicy potato soft taco that didn?t have 2 day old hardinedible potatoes on it. Rock hard potatoes. This is at 6:00 at night. Again I would wait however long it took to make new foodand I think a lot of people would. It is clear that the management here is non existent or incompetent. Too bad to because welike Taco Bell. Corporate needs to step in here or this location will not make it. Read more
Service and food produced have steadily declined in the last three years . I do not plan on ever getting food there any more.... Last time I was there was a big disappointment. What I ordered was not what I got and was of very poor quality. I attempted toget a hold of management for a replacement but they would not respond to my phone message. Read more
Firstly we waited in line for 25 min but that wasn?t so terrible to us because we were hoping our food would be nice and hot but... it was not. Sat beside the ordering box for 15 minutes with absolutely no words being spoken to us. Waited 15 minutes before this in a line... that was moving. You can hardly call this fast food. Read more
Absolute dumpster fire of a taco bell. Was amazing when they first opened and the couple years that followed. However this past... year has been an absolute mess. Went through the drive thru and ordered a couple tacos only to open the bag and find a tiny bitof meat and cheese rolled up into a cigar shaped taco lol. I went back and told them my order got messed up then politely askedif they could correct it. The guy working the window snapped at me and told me to prove it, so I presented the tacos. The cookwho made it came over and looked at them then took off his hat and through it on the ground and walked away. The inside of thebuilding was absolutely disgusting, trash all over the kitchen floor and lobby floor. The female manager said that I justordered plain tacos not supreme tacos. I presented my recipe showing otherwise. The drive thru kid yelled something about $24then slammed his hand on the counter. Then a very polite gentleman who was quite the entire time presented me with my food andapologized. I thanked him and left. He literally looked like a high school kid who hated being there but was very kind lol.Needless to say I will never return. Taco johns is better anyway. I only stopped there because I has just gone to the store andit was more convenient. Next time I'll just hit up tj's. Avoid this place. The food is typical, the portions are skimped, andthe price isn't that much cheaper than any other place these days. Plus the inside is literally disgusting and very dirty. The most unskilled set of workers I have ever seen. Not once have I gotten all of my order, food is scattered all over the bag... because they don?t even know how to fold a burrito let alone the wrapper. I recommend digging in the trash behind McDonald?sbefore ever wasting your time or money at this Taco Bell. Read more
The last few times have been sub par. A few weeks ago we ordered our food in the drive through but did not receive all of it,... when my husband went in to ask for the missing items the staff there was argumentative and tried to say we never ordered theitems, yet we had it on the reciept. This last time we ordered the taco party pack, as you can see in the picture (this taco wasone of the better looking ones mind you) they barely put anything on the taco, and it was only meat? And cheese.....i basicallyhad 12 shells and enough filling for 1 taco. Waste of money and didnt feed my family like it was supposed to. Read more
Taco Bell of Brookings is consistently the worst fast food experience in the city. As many people have noted, it has seriously... gone downhill over the past several years. Your food will likely be cold, haphazardly thrown together, or completely wrong.Today's experience was probably my final time going there. I was the only person at the restaurant. The person who helped me atthe Drive-Thru was a little confused when I asked for no beans on my nachos. Not a crazy request, I thought. I also asked for asoftshell taco and some jalapeno sauce. As you can imagine, none of that was correct. They also had no ice for my drink, whichturned out to be pure syrup anyway. This is typical for this restaurant. Everyone I know has similar experiences, where theirfood is incorrect and the staff have been distracted, gossiping, or just plain ignoring them. This place cycles throughemployees like none other. What, if any, training they receive is certainly not up to standard. One time I went at 11:30AM andwas turned away because there was only 1 employee there and he wasn't sure if any other person was going to come in that day.Something is wrong there, and at this point I doubt it can be fixed.
