Grew up with NY style ???? pizza. This is awesome pizza and the staff was friendly and fun. Ordered several pizza's. The... flavors were consistent and delicious. My only complaint there were no leftovers for the next day. ( I should have hiddenone). Our family will definitely be back when we are in Brookings. Read more

If you like your pizza thin, crunchy, overcooked, light on cheese, and bland then you will love Pizza King.
The pizza can be pretty good- thin crust, lots of cheese not too much sauce. Because so many people are so high on it, I wanted... to love it and give it a 5, but I've had it twice and it's been inconsistent. The vibe inside was awkward both times, and it'snot the most user friendly place to order a pizza. No to-go drinks, no cards excepted, and the conversation both inside and overthe phone is very blunt. I know when you are busy time is money, and not everyone is cheerful, and credit card processing feesdrive up prices, but it almost seems like the reputation is what you pay for. I will give them another chance to convince methis is a 5 star place, but ultimately it's decent pizza at an ok price point. Read more
A Brookings institution and my favourite pizza of all time! The crust is thin, and the toppings are super flavorful. They're cut... in squares, so easy to eat. They offer half-baked options if you would like to take your pizza home and cook it there! Heads up,though: they only take cash or check. Read more
