I want to start by saying my husband and I have visited here before and had a great experience, from the service to the food. We... were excited to return, unfortunately we did not have a positive experience whatsoever. The main issue is that we ordered abottle of the cold sake that was brought to the table, opened and placed in a wine chiller. My husband and I took our first sipand it was room temperature bordering on warm. We told the waiter expecting him to offer a solution. Instead, he admitted thetruck delivering the sake had come at 4pm that day, but said that since it had been opened he could not switch it out for a coldbottle of different beverage. I find that preposterous, how can you admit that you know the reason the product is messed up, butrefuse to offer a solution. At this point we are still trying to be accommodating and agreed he could just bring some ice to putaround the bottle in the wine chiller. Well, he comes back to the table, pours all of the ice in the bottom and is thensurprised the bottle does not fit. We then try just placing a few ice cubes around the side of the bottle, but that does not fiteither. By now I am getting frustrated because the bottle should have just been taken back in the first place. Finally, ourwaiter says he will bring us a shaker and ice so that we can chill the shots that way. What ?!?!? I do not want a shaker and Ido not want watered down sake shots. We had already ordered soup and appetizers but decided to cut our losses and requested thecheck. Our waiter comes back with the check and tells us he asked the manager if he wanted to speak with us and he said no. Mindyou, we did not even ask to speak with the manager so the fact that he is now coming to the table telling us that the managerdoes not want to speak with us is beyond rude. I came to this location for dinner on Monday at 8 after hearing good things about this place. The chef decided to close early at... 9.. (I placed one more order for the Brookhaven roll and my waiter came back at 9:15 and informed me that the chef said thatthey were not making any more food) we didn’t even get a last call notice from our waiter because he wasn’t even given aHeads up. Our waiter was great! The sushi chef (under the main chef) definitely Ruin our experience. Coming back is debatable.Other customers were also turned away. Piss poor service on Behalf of the chef! Only my waiter and the bartender were there at9:30. Perhaps he didn’t anticipate on us writing a review but, this is why you should always provide great service I have zerotolerance for piss poor customers. Eight sushi would never!!!! Read more
The food was good. We had Red Lady maki, Salmon Roe nigiri, Volcano, and Wok-fried Edamame, Tempura Fried Ice Cream, Lychee... martini, and Lychee mojito. Our favorites the Red Lady, cocktails, and dessert. The ambiance was just OK. There was waterdripping from the ceiling in various areas. Our server was great but the hostess was sub par. Read more
This place is delicious! The sushi was fresh and very well made! The service was amazing too. Half way through our diner the... manager of the place gave our group a complimentary bottle of wine! The One Sushi+ is a great place for unique sushi. You’ll find some rolls here that you won’t find anywhere else. Rather than... being a straight authentic sushi experience, you’ll get a fusion of different tastes and cuisines into amazing sushi rolls.Everything is very high quality and tasty. Service is attentive, cocktail list is decent. The inside can get a bit packed soI’d suggest a reservation for busier evenings. It can also be loud sometimes too. Would not recommend for kids.
