Delicious African food in the whole Bronx. Still the best ????
Good food (occasionally),but terrible customer service. Will have you waiting even if you?re the only person there!
Came here for lunch a few weeks ago and it was a little disappointing. The line had about 10 people ahead of me and still had... about a hour wait. How ridiculous. The owner was working the register but he seemed more like the help as he has SOOO manyquestions for the staff about pricing. I ordered okra soup w pounded yam. The soup was VERY oily and it red... Red? some of youare thinking the same thing as me. Unless they discovered a "new" vegetable how is the soup red??? It must of been Banga soup orheavily doused in palm oil as I only had 1 piece of okra in the entire bowl. The jelloff rice was fine it tasted like it wasmade in a pressure cooker instead of over the counter which takes longer and more effort but the flavor and quality is worth it.Moving on I would recommend you grab and go if you stop by for lunch. Although there is seating it isn't advised. Read more
I was on a friendly date. I felt safe on till one huge dud came inside and asked me for $1. I said I don't have any more money.... He sat down about two tables from me and started looking at me. He kept on for about 20 minutes lml????????. I was kind ofscared. On the other hand, I enjoyed the Ghanaian food????. My friend said it's called waakye. Read more
Food is tasty, but anytime I buy fried fish, the scales are still on it. I have to peel them off myself, before eating.
