Reviews for John & Joe's Pizzeria and Restaurant in The Bronx, NY

I have been ordering from John & Joe's Pizza for 9 years now but lately they have been lacking on Hygiene. Yesterday I ordered a... small pie and while waiting I observed that the person making the dough was the same person receiving the money and for 20minutes I observed that man going from holding money and touching the dough back and forth. This is disgusting and it's sad.This is not the first time this happened. Previous I have complained because another guy who used to make the pizza (the shortone) he used to go outside smoke, come back, opened the same door everyone touches and go straight to make the pizza. very slow delivery. i ordered a pizza at 12pm and it is now 1pm, i just received my order. i called to ask how much longer and... they yelled at me on the phone. i live across the street from them so delivery shouldn?t be difficult. an hour delivery isoutrageous. the pizza was cut into 7 slices when it was supposed to be 8? the crust was raw and dry. just terrible. the garlicknots are delicious btw. Solid good NY style pizza and great garlic knots but ask for marinara.

This used to be my favorite spot back in the day I placed an order last night and was disappointed, both slices had barely any... sauce . I ask for the slices well done & they gave me the garlic knots and Zeppoli?s well done as well . Like they heateverything up at the same time . I asked for garlic knots with cheese and sauce , my garlic knots were hard the cheese was hardI was struggling trying to take them off the container until I gave up . There was also no sauce on the side . My Zeppoli?s wererock hard. Disappointed I threw all the food away . I?ve never had this issue , I won?t be coming back . Read more
