usually reliable but its been hit or miss the last few years. on Father's Day I doubled down and ordered the paella. It looked... out of place leading off the entree specials and it was experimental to be kind. Biohazard salty would be a safer signage. Ifelt my blood pressure rise in protest following one forkful. My dad agreed. this was proof that the extra salt was unimaginablyextra. I wanted to return both dishes and order something else. My father insisted on suffering in silence as is hisway. "thank you sir - may I have another?" the mantra silently spoken to center myself while enduring duress. As my lipspursed the salinity rose rapidly within. I quieted my exterior reacting less with each forkful swallowed. Gathering a size-ablemouthful on the tines, gulped in a tasteless clump. One of the Best Italian restaurants in the Bronx! This restaurant is a local neighborhood spot that boasts great Italian... cuisine. As with all great Italian restaurants, they start to serve you with salads, bread and antipasto. Then they have anextensive menu from pastas, pizzas, steaks and seafood. We ordered the crab cakes for appetizer and it was heavenly! It waspaired with a creamy cognac sauce that balances out the dish well. Then I opted to order one of the unique pizzas I have evertasted, it is called ?Bee Sting? pizza. Its a pizza topped with honey and hot sopressata. That combination is righteousness inevery possible way. You should try it out when it?s available! We ended our lunch with Spaghetti Carbonara which was deliciousand the filet of sole cooked oreganata style. Each menu item we ordered was superb. Definitely a gem in the Bronx and a mustvisit. Love this place! Food is amazing each and every time. What do I reccomend? Everything. I've tried their pizza, chicken marsala,... chicken parm special (pinwheel mozzarella and prosciutto), butternut squash ravioli special, prime rib, pork chop with vinegarpeppers, and the appetizer stuffed long hot Italian peppers.
