Lively restaurant with a nice selection of beer. Food was adequate (only issue with the time and quality) but overall taste was... good. It's a quaint spot and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I attended a pre- mother's evening event , featuring Keith "The... Captain" Gamble and the Nu Gypsies band and I was very entertained. The food is very good, the drinks colorful and the ambienceis very comforting. ???????? Read more

After reading so many good reviews, we were excited to visit Charlie's Bar & Kitchen. My party and I had high hopes, but were... disappointed with the food. Went for brunch, but we weren't impressed. The pros: Nice brick interior with awesome photographsand artwork. The cons: Onto the less positive things...The omelet and egg scrambled were bland and didn't "wow" us. We werehoping to have received a crisp mixed green salad, instead, it was wilted. Asked for hot sauce, but it tasted like Buffalo wingsauce. Not enough of a selection on sliced bread (they only serve white.) Took a while to get a cup of coffee. I found it oddthat it was brunch and was told that coffee needed to be brewed.
