Came here for dinner on a Friday night. We made reservations, glad we did because the wait was pretty long if not. We sat... outside on the patio. It is summer and hot but they had fans going and it was ok being outside. They had a singer performinglive music which was nice and really complemented the atmosphere. I had a ribeye with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes.Steak was a solid 8/10, garlic mashed was 8/10 and asparagus was 6/10. Wife had a filet, loaded baked potato and house salad.Her steak was a solid 9/10, potato was 8/10 and the salad was very well portioned and had all the fixings. Waiter was prompt andfriendly. What an incredible find in such a beautiful town! I took my girlfriend to Broken Bow for a weekend birthday trip and tried to... find a really nice restaurant for good food, atmosphere and entertainment. I?m excited to say that I found all three withAbendigo?s! The food was fantastic! We ordered the Sicilian Nachos as an appetizer and let me tell you, that was the bestchoice of the nice. The chips were fresh, the Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, and jalapeño combination made the app pop! Thenonto the entree with Chicken Fried Steak and Pasta Louisiana. All amazing choices! The service was friendly and attentive toour needs. There was live music playing outside. The atmosphere was homey and down-to-earth. We were given a gift certificate as a wedding gift for our honeymoon here in broken bow? we went and ate here on Tuesday and... We had reservations at Abendigos based on the reviews for their great steaks. I will agree that their steaks were soaked well,... tender and tasty but extremely fatty. We both ordered and both of our plates were fatty with a small amount of meat to enjoy. Wewere left disappointed because it was tasty and was only able to enjoy half of our 16 oz order. The pics attached will give youan idea of my plate upon delivery and after finishing, the leftover fat I trimmed off. At least our dogs got to enjoy the restof it. Sadly I will give this restaurant a 3 star because it was nothing special. Our drinks we asked not shaken over ice(martinis) were done on ice and the lemon drop martini was extra sweet and tempered down bc that too was shaken in ice. I gatherthis is more touristy and trust over time, attention will be given to details to improve the quality of their food and service. Read more
We really enjoyed Abendigo's! The first night I had shrimp and grits which was really good, but after I sampled my husband's... catfish, I had to go back for my own. They had such fresh and full fish fillets! Original tarter sauce and seasoned toperfection and the perfect french fries! I couldn't get enough! Read more
I came here for a birthday dinner and had a great time. We started off with the Southwest Chicken Egg rolls, which were... amazing!! The calamari portion was great, but they were too chewy. I think they overcooked them, so it was like rubber. Theshrimp and grits were pretty good. I think they could season the shrimp more, but overall I was pleased with the plate. Itdidn?t lack flavor, and the portion is pretty large. I think you can really get a good bang for your buck here. All the mealsare reasonably priced and portioned well. We also received good service for a party of 7. The server brought out a complimentarybrownie dessert with a candle for my friend's birthday, which was a nice added touch. Ambiance was cozy and fun, staff made sure you were doing okay but didn?t overdo it either, alcohol beverages are made strong... which if you like good strong drinks then they do it well! I ordered the pasta Louisiana and it blew my mind, the shrimp werecooked to perfection and were so flavorful. It was well worth the visit to stop here and get a very enjoyable dinner. Read more
