Rude staff. My husband asked for cup holder sleeves for our hot drinks, and even said sorry for asking, as we could see the... barista was busy, but even so there was enough staff working. She just threw them down in the counter and slammed my daughtersdrink down next to it, with that look that made you feel bad for daring to ask for something. Wow, no manners at all! We asked the guy why the stainless steel cup ( cup used to make the milk foam ) is dirty from outside, he said but it?s clean... from inside! Instead of saying ?sorry? or? I will clean it now?! Absolutely the worst location for customer service. A lot of power trippers. To the snippy "manager" this morning. I got my... usual drink just fine without your extra charge at the other location. And your "because you're the manager" comment as to why Iwas getting the charge when I inquired since I had never heard about it was shocking for them to even hear that you spoke to methat way. Very busy location as it is the only one in Brockville!!! Very friendly staff and a large variety of beverages...seems like more... than offered in Ottawa! Well stocked and relatively clean, considering the traffic. It is located just minutes off the 401.Caramel Frappacino and Café Vanilla Frappacino tastes somewhat bitter, so that is a shame. Must be in the execution of therecipe! Nice outside patio, though there is A lot of vehicle traffic. A nice breeze today so the air is good. I do not imagineit would be nice without a breeze! Very creative summer decor throughout, which is fun and different from other locations. Anoverall positive experience. Worth the slight detour off the 401 and much much better than the 401 rest stops as there is somuch in the area for eating, shopping and banking. Read more
Only giving one star because I have to give one. We spent 15 minutes in the drive thru just to be told to come inside to pay... because their machine was down. We went inside to pay, everything was made, their machine was down inside too. Instead ofoffering us the stuff because we spent 25 minutes trying to pay for it, they told us there was nothing they can do. We are in apandemic and no one carries cash around. The Kemptville Starbucks always gives you your order if their machine is down when youare trying to pay. This was horrible customer service. Not asking for a handout but when you make a customer come inside to payand it still doesn?t work, you?re wasting our time at that point. Do better. Read more
