Loved this place! I love that the plant based "meats" are made with real plants, not some overly processed ingredients. My... husband had the Buddha bowl and I had the cheeze steak. We both enjoyed our food. I also had a rice krispie treat which I hadn'thad one since going vegan and it was so delicious! Decent food I must say, although the gentleman who worked was their alone and he was completely unaware of many of my questions... and unable to answer 90% as I had a newly transitioned person to the vegan lifestyle accompanying me(my Aunt)! Awesome I noticednumerous items that contradict the vegan lifestyle, thankfully I was cognizant, I almost was coaching him up on a lot of things.I love that the straws and some other utensils were recycled from agave and avocado. A bit dissatisfied with the smoothies andfrozen fruits/ selections. Very clean and organized place, wish you could see the preparation process, I noticed while he (Kyle)if I remember correctly was in the back the reheat everything via microwave(that?s a lot of radiation) especially with processed?plant based? foods. I have been on this journey for 4 years now and I am extremely conscious of my consumption and process.Would have love to witness what oils etc, overall being specific decent food a biT pricey especially with the above mentionedstatements, the employee was pleasant and I?d probably visit again if I?m the area; sure beats McDonalds, Wendy?s etc etc lolhope this helps. Great staff and offerings. When my husband got sick, he had me go to Zen to stock up on their fresh juices. Once, they were... out of what we were looking for and the person working there offered to add the ingredient we were looking for (we neededginger) into some of the fresh drinks that were already bottled. We visited this store a couple of times during our vacation in Virginia. It was so nice to go somewhere with so many vegan/GF... options for my daughter. It?s also free of dyes and artificial junk! We met the store owner during our second visit. She let mydaughters and their friends sample all the vegan gelato. I had some too - YUM!!! The açaí bowl is delicious as well. Lots of food selection to choose from. the food was delicious, I definitely enjoyed their fresh pressed juice and I love... browsing The items they had from local artists. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to choosing an item off themmenu, I appreciate the recommendations they given me I will definitely come and visit more often. Read more
