Huge disappointment. I paid $20 for a large cheese pizza in which the cheese was so lack(almost no cheese on it). Then, they... charged me a transaction fees for debit card in which is not fair. That's why that place was so empty like never before. I willnot order the pizza on that place anymore. If you want a good pizza, Go to Domino's Pizza. 2 medium pizza with 2 toppings for$5.99 each. I recently purchased a chicken Caesar salad and when I got home, once again I only have LETTUCE AND CHEESE!!!! This was the... second time I ordered something from here and something was missing. Mind you, it wasn?t rush time and when I called to talkabout it, they manager wasn?t too friendly and seem like she didn?t care but offered to fix it. To be totally transparent, My family probably orders from Max Pizza twice a week. I absolutely love the pizza. I live closer to... the middle Street one, however after a few instances when they did not get our order right , I only continued to go to theStafford Ave location. Today, I was short on time, and ordered from Middle Street. What a DISAPPOINTMENT. We ordered thesame thing all the time. Half pepperoni well done. Shame on me for not checking when I picked it up. Not only was itundercooked, it was as if the chef just put a handful of cheese in the center of the pizza. None of the cheese reached thecrust. It?s a big soupy mess in the middle. So not even close to well done, which I could?ve gotten past, but the pile ofcheese in the middle was just horrible. I brought this to their attention before, and I?ve even brought it to the attention ofthe chefs at Stafford Avenue. I questioned them on whether they use the same recipe because their pizzas are so different. Heassured me it was the same recipe. I know I?m just one person, but I?m a good customer. We chose Max Pizza 4 for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding on 4/21/2022. The planning process leading up to the dinner was... seamless and their staff was extremely accommodating to allergies and specific food choices. During the rehearsal dinner, thestaff was very friendly and made the guests feel very comfortable. The presentation of the food was wonderful and it all tasteddelicious. Great food, good beer and a very nice event space upstairs. Owners Stel and Nikki are super hospitable. We had a wonderful... time at James Bond night which included DJ and casino games and I can recommend coming to their events (another recent one wasHalloween night, they advertise them on door so make sure to check for the next one/s). On top of that their pizza and food ingeneral are excellent, great place especially for dine-in as their bar area is often jumping with conversations and peopleenjoying the vibe. Read more
Wonderful tiramisu! Very light, sweet and had a good coffee flavor. I was there for a catered event! Did not try any of the... pizzas but they had excellent egg plant parm! The space upstairs was neat with lots of artwork. Read more
