Old Chicago never disappoints. Lots to choose from. We had the farm girl pizza. It was tasty. I'm not a fan of pan style pizza... because the dough never seems to be cooked through. I'm not sure if that's because of the sauce soaking in or not, but thispizza was the same. But it was tasty. The place was really crowded for a Thursday so service was a bit slow but ok overall. Ordered two individual size pepperoni & sausage pizzas to go and when we got home we realized they were overcooked. The sausage... was burnt and black. My wife and I were surprised the cook would have even sent it out like this. We took them back the nextday and the manger was dumbfounded what he should do. Finally offered to refund the money, but didn?t even have the courtesy tosay sorry for running your dinner plans. If you have eaten there lately you have probably experienced long delays getting yourfood and the food is satisfactory at best. We started with the cheesy garlic bread. The bread was absolutely disappointing. Literally a baguette with mozzarella sprinkled... over the top. First semester, college level cheesy bread. My daughters Mac& cheese was terrible, ice cold, with a runny waterycheese sauce. My wife stated that as far as carbonara goes it was the worst she?s had yet. Everything about this place was on point! From the time you walk in the door, the greeter was friendly and welcoming. The... services second to none. When I let my server know about my allergy.
