Reviews for Hunan Village in Brigham City, UT
The chicken was dry the rice was burnt. They also forgot my egg rools when we were ordering take out. There hot and sour soup... was the only thing that even slightly tasted good. Read more
The food is the upper par of your standard Chinese American but with lovely portions. I didn't know the dinner entrees came with... chow mein so I got an extra side but I consider that an added bonus for tomorrow's breakfast. The service was a sweet lady whoseemed to care about getting our order right. While we where quoted 20 minutes for our takeout it easily was closer to ten.Wonderful place. I'll be back for sure. Hot Dog Fried Rice!! If that alone is not enough to explain my low review I will elaborate further below. I got Spicy Crunchy... Chicken combination plate: The sauce was inedible. It was overloaded with garlic and salt. I love garlic and I?ve never had itbe repulsive. It had zero spicy heat. Noodles were soggy over cooked but had okay flavor. ?Ham? Fried Rice actually tastedokay, until I found larger pieces of ?ham? which were obviously chopped up hot dogs. It wasn?t even close to ham, rounded edgesand the exact consistency and flavor of bar-s hot dogs. Soup tasted and smelled burnt, couldn?t get though the first bite. Ispit it out and thew it in the trash. I have had many worst Chinese restaurants and this one will forever be the worst of theworst. Unfortunately for those who live in Brigham City it?s the only Chinese restaurant I am aware of. I heard rumors of aPanda Express coming to town, which normally doesn?t illicit joy but for a city with Hunan Village as the only option I thinkit?s a time for competition. Read more
We stopped here on our way back to Salt Lake and I would never go there again. The soup smelt burnt. So no one we touched it.... The rice was bland with absolutely no flavor. Everything tasted old. I left with basically all food untouched. And it cost me 60bucks. Way overpriced for how disgusting it is!! Read more
Who was pretty good. I only gave it four stars because the egg drop soup is more like a mushroom soup with some egg in it. Way... too strong on the mushroom flavor for somebody who does not like mushrooms. It almost tastes like they dumped in cannedmushrooms juice and all, added peas and carrots for color brought to a boil and added eggs The mushroom taste is overpowering. Read more
An average Chinese restaurant for Utah. They have lunch specials for $8 and dinner specials (any time) for $11. Dinners have... more food with egg roll or shrimp and chow mein as well as the entre, rice and soup or salad. Service is good. The setting isnot that appealing. Read more
Food was good. Nothing outstanding. The environment was my biggest problem. Feels dirty and not put together, almost like... they're in a temporary location but they've been there for a long time. 3 stars because the food was good. Read more
Food delivered fast (they use door dash). Drinks ordered are 32oz. Kung pao chicken, sweet & sour chicken, broccoli beef w/the... huge pot stickers, and egg rolls were all delicious. Didn't much care for the egg drop soup (too many mushrooms. Read more
