My wife and I stopped in while In Bridgewater last night on our way home, had the Aloo Gobi, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka... Masala. After eating Indian Cuisine in British Columbia I have to say this owner and his family are making some of the bestauthentic Indian food we have had for some time, the spices were spot on and flavours came through in each dish, Love their Naanbread which I should have bought more to take home. This will be our go to restaurant on the south shore Read more

Well, that was particularly uninspiring. Having just arrived from Toronto, I was excited over the prospect of a nice curry... dinner, as Indian restaurants are pretty thin on the ground in Nova Scotia. The dining room is quite a harsh experience that isreminiscent of a 80s era fast food interior. The portions are the smallest I've encountered, and the seasonings were all butabsent. There is a connecting corridor to another take-out that serves Western food, so it's clear that the owner is trying tocover all he bases, but not really succeeding at any one thing. It's a pity, because a competitor could easily put him out ofbusiness in a fortnight by offering food just a notch in quality above what is offered here. Based on my dining experience, Ihaven't the incentive to return. Read more

This is the best curry I?ve had within Canada since I?ve been here, 13yrs! Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. I... enjoy a spicy curry, and the chef got the spice exactly right. I did ask then to spice it up specifically for us. They can dowhatever spice level you enjoy. The Spinach/Lentil dhal have a fantastic smokiness to it. The Shimp Kardia curry had a richdelicious deep flavour. The beef rogan josh, was spicy and smoky. Mixed with the garlic naan, roti, raita and basmati rice. Wow.PERFECT takeout :). Highly Recommend Read more

Extremely disappointing. It speaks volumes that one can spend less for a pre prepared chicken vindaloo at the Atlantic... Superstore, and eat a meal that is far more authentically Indian than what was served to me at this restaurant. When the foodwas brought to my table, I truly did a double-take, as it was the equivalent of a child's portion. This could be forgiven if thefood was well prepared, but it wasn't. What was served was stodge: flavourless, and uninspired. I've eaten at a number ofIndian restaurants across Canada (in large cities, and in small communities) and each one offered something uniquely positive. That trend was broken here. Read more
