Today was my first time trying this pizza after years of people recommending it. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly... people joking with one another in a small-town-"we've-been-doing-this-forever" type of manner (which was welcoming, I lovesupporting places like this). I must say the pizza is on point, idk how or why I waited this long to give it a shot. If you'refrom this area the best way I can describe it is if Town Spa and Linwood had a baby. It has that crispy crust of Linwood andthat sweeter tangy sauce similar to Town Spa. Honestly, almost perfection...although I know people's opinions vary.Nevertheless, I highly recommend! *Edit*: I forgot to add that this is just as good, if not better than the more popular pizzaplaces (as previously mentioned)in the area. Very groovy pizza. My go to is the buff chicken. Always consistent and the pizza guy has a mustache so you know it's gonna be... good. Read more

Tried J's for the first time 3 nights ago. The gentleman answering the phone was very polite and friendly! Walked into an... extremely clean, well sanitized kitchen that was converted from the owners garage. Pretty cool! Picked up a cheese and pepperonipizza which was ready at the exact time that was given to me. This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had! Cookedperfectly, cheese and sauce spread right to the edge of the pizza, crispy burnt edges! The sauce is amazing, and there issomething about it that just blows away every competitor. All I have to say is wow!! The owner rang up my order, as he wascranking out pizza after pizza... Seemed like a really nice down to earth guy, as someone else mentioned, a true expert in hiscraft, and I could tell that he has been doing this for several years! Overall, J's beats everyone in the pizza scene! I havehad some of the other well known establishments on the South Shore, and none of them come close to J's Flying Pizza. Def arepeat customer, and highly recommend!!! Read more

Great place to stop in and grab a pie to go (no inside dining) we got the pepperoni pizza. I was pretty impressed overall, not... rubbery or soggy, the cheese to sauce ratio was good and a very generous amount of roni. Flying Jay's for the win! Oh and thegarlic breadsticks are amazing Read more
