Awesome authentic Bangladeshi food. I have been into so many Bangladeshi owned restaurants who usually creates fusion of indian... and Bangladeshi food. But, if you want to have a taste of Bangladesh in St louis this is the place you should go. Read more

We took out food from this place for dinner. The owner lady was sweet and asked us to call and order beforehand for next time.... They had only biriyani, morog polao etc. we were looking for other stuff listed such as mughlai parota. But she usually doesn?tmake it all the time. So it?s good to call here one- two hours before and order. The biriyani and morog polao was pretty good, and cheap for the price and amount that they are serving. It?s totally a value for the money. Highly recommended if you likeindian/ bangladeshi/ south Asian food. Read more

What an absolutely amazing experience. Never tried food from Bangladesh before and I was not disappointed. I had the goat... biriyani and the flavors were amazing, perfect balance between spice and flavor. Alongside the amazing food, the staff here arevery friendly and welcoming. If you have the opportunity to come here, I would highly recommend it! Definitely will be comingback! Read more

Being out of town searching for something good to eat, I ended up at Sulaiman's Cafe through Google Maps. Folks there could not... have been nicer, and quickly cooked up a dish with rice and chicken. That was by far the best yellow rice I've ever eaten. Theentire meal was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend stopping in if you like Bangladeshi food. Read more

Authentic halal Bangladeshi food at an affordable price. If you never tasted any Bangladeshi cuisine, I urge you to try out the... 'Murog Pulao', I can almost guarantee that this is unlike any other kind of Chicken-Rice combo you have ever tasted. Thetenderness of the Murog (chicken) and the aroma of the Pulao(rice) is simply amazing. If looking for something more traditional, the pizza with is also great. I sure want to come back to taste the other dishes that are served here. Read more

!!!?????????????????!!! While looking for something new & local for dinner, we discovered this absolute treasure. Although very... unassuming in appearance, Sulaiman's Cafe was a fantastic dining experience. We were treated to an homey & cozy 3 table diningarea. You can smell & hear the sounds of your food being prepared by the most welcoming & friendly chef I've experienced in awhile. Our requests were all fulfilled graciously & expeditiously. Our food, the requested samosas, beef teheri & lamb overrice, were all stellar. Although I can't speak to the authenticity, having no prior Bangladeshi food experience, the smell &taste were every bit as good as anything Indian I could compare it to. ????We ate too fast, out of joy & gluttony, so pictureswill have to come next time! Quick, outstanding & ????THE VALUE???? of the food IS incomparable!!! Not forgetting the friendlyfamily environment we were treated to, which was also immeasurable. We totally felt as if a new friend was having us over for afirst dinner. We ended up being the only customers left when we dined & it added to everything, absolutely. If you miss the lovein the food, I'm not sure you were looking. The chef's wife was jovial & we absolutely enjoyed our conversation & interaction. My daughter & I believe their little one ( who the cafe is named after) might be the cutest baby boy we've yet had the pleasureof meeting. He entertained us immensely & was a joy to behold! ??????WE WILL BE BACK. WE WILL SHARE THE PRAISES!!! THIS GEM IS A?????????? Make sure you order from them too! Lots of take out while wedined.???????????????????????????????????????????? ?Updated with photos from second dinner about a week later. Chicken tikamasala & chicken biriyani & morog polao, an all chicken line up. The mango lassi definitely helped with any spice, but honestlythe level & amount are perfect for me. Everything was just as amazing as our first visit. Again, we will be back for more!? Lastpic is from early Oct Read more

The very first Bangladeshi restaurant in STL. Absolutely terrific pricing costing about 10$ per person. Tried their Morog Polao... and Beef Tehari. The morog polao tasted phenomenal. Hope they offer more dishes in the future! Read more

I traveled all over United States and tried different Bangladeshi restaurants, but this one by far is the best I had! Their food... brought me home. The owners are exceptionally welcoming. This is a family owned restaurant and their love for cooking reflectson the food. Try for yourself, and if you haven't tried Bangladeshi food, but like Indian food, you will never order Indian foodagain. Read more
