Authentic Mexican food that is sure to deliver! Loved it here. The Mexican red rice tasted a lot like my mom?s. It?s a trip back... home. The tortillas are made from scratch, the tacos are mmm. I def recommend tacos al pastor. My sister loved the taco with thepineapple and she doesn?t even like pineapple. That didn?t matter here lol. Horchata and jamaica drinks were great. My firsttime trying birria and cochinita pibil and it was great. Finished it off with a tamarind and mango ice cream with chamoy sauce. Read more

Tonight was our first time in. Restaurant is tucked away just off Lindbergh. Pleasantly surprised by not only the food but... service. Everyone was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Had a little of everything and it was all delicious. Not one ofthose Tex-Mex places that simply slaps the same old stuff that was cooked hours ago onto a scalding plate. Obviously care abouttheir product and presentation. Will DEFINITELY be back and have already recommended to several people. Read more

Not impressed. Food was just ok. Order taco Birre came with black beans and rice, and I ordered street corn. The meat was... tender, needed more flavor and more cilantro and onion. Not enough to go with portions. Corn was crunchy, with a little cheesein it. Seems like it was fresh not canned corn. No flavor. Also ordered chips and cheese dip. Yes ordered as it is an appetizerand the cheese was so thick you could spread it. Waiter didn't speak much English so couldn't explain items on menus. Staff wasvery polite and friendly. I will give another try. Spent $30 with what I ordered. Read more

This place is legit. ?????????? I found this place while searching for food near me. I noticed the pictures looked ???????? so... my husband and I had to give them a try. When we ordered, we were greeted by the head chef Miguel who went over some of the menuitems with us. He was phenomenal, and very knowledgeable about each item. This man knows how to cook, and he takes such greatpride in his food. He's mindful of the spice level, and even without the heat -- the mixture of flavors absolutely deliver. Thiswas definitely one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a while. The authentic flavors were refreshing. Everythingwas made from scratch -- from the sauces to the steaming hot tortillas. It's places like this that absolutely dominate and putEl Maguey, Dos Primos and other chains (sadly, even a lot of other Mom and Pop) restaurants to shame -- there's no comparison. Iespecially loved the tomato salsa with the Cochinita taco. The Quesabirria Consumé could have used a little more salt, but itwas still amazing. We also tried the Enchiladas De Mole, and the chefs special Chicken Tinga Machete. The Queso Fundito is amust. (Cheese, chorizo, bell peppers, poblano peppers and corn melted in a skillet and cooked to finish with a crispy bottom.Served with warm tortillas). ???????????? It's so hard to find places that not only serve delicious food, but to be able tospeak with the chef who creates these wonderful meals and hear the passion in their voices -- that makes the experience trulyspecial.
