Probably the best pizza in the state. Tastes just like New York Pizza. The pizza has a great cheese/tomato sauce ratio. The... crust is good as well. The only other spot with similar-tasting pizza is Villas in Stratford CT. Read more

This is sad, I order a well done pie waited30 minutes in the area for it to be soggy and unable to hold itself together all the... toppings fell off and watery to say the least. I loved going here growing up the nostalgia of some good eating gets me everytime but 30 bucks and30 minutes wasted random sad to say Massimos is taking a dive. Read more

The menu, prices, service and food are always great. They even warm it up for you if You let it get cold while shopping. I was... kind of depressed this morning running my errands. So I was one of the first customers in for the day, and the gentleman let meget myself together. They were nice & let me sit for a few before I ordered my food. Some places will treat you bad if you don?torder right away. Much appreciated. This place is one of the last few good staples in Bridgeport and should never change. I?mhappy this place is not considered a ?fine dining establishment? and actually still sells slices for the local community. Wedeserve nice things too where we live & spend money. I?ll come more often. Here?s 5 stars. Read more

Decent food. No waitstaff on that day, but the person assisting the table was rather nice. The sauce on the pizza and chicken... parm dinner wasn't my favorite. My 7 year old said that it reminded her of spaghetti O's and I could see that. Read more

My family has been going to Massimo?s since moving to CT in the 80s. My grandmother was nuts about this place. I hadn?t been... there in over 6 years since she passed, mostly because I have no reason to travel to Bridgeport anymore. Needless to say, I waspleasantly surprised when I went to pick up food a couple of weeks ago (chicken parm and a couple of pizzas), to find that Mr.Massimo was still behind the counter, food was still just as delicious as I remember, still came in generous portions, and ifthe prices have changed I didn?t notice. The bad reviews are clearly from people that don?t know the difference between pizzasauce and marinara sauce. You don?t put marinara on pizza ???? But if that?s what you prefer, you can request it? or just go toone of the pizza shops that are on every corner in Bridgeport that all use the same canned sauce from restaurant depot? However,if AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CUISINE is what you crave, Massimo?s is the only place to go this side of the Atlantic. Read more

One of the better Italian restaurants the Fairfield County has to offer. Food is always good here atmosphere is casual yet... elegant and the staff are very charismatic. The pizza is different from all the other places nearby nice chew and a very uniqueand delicious savoriness to it. If you like villa's in Stratford this is where it stems from 4 stars only because you have toorder your dine in meal upfront so you're waiting behind all the doordashers and call pick ups Read more

Truly missed the mark! We use to like their pizza, and thought we'd order from them since we haven't for quite some time.... Unfortunately, this was the worst pizza we've had in a really long time and over priced. It was very salty, the sauce was fresh, watery and lacking in flavor. The pizza was also soggy, thin, and wouldn't stay together. We ended up having to order somethingelse because, my kids who love pizza even thought it taste bad and refused to eat it. Read more
