Restaurant says they deliver but wouldn't deliver to Trumbull 5 miles away
I have lived in North End for over 40 yes and have ordered take out from Fei Ma many times. Always enjoyed the food.. Last... Saturday I ordered my favorite General Tsos chicken, fried rice egg roll, won ton soup. Every dish was terrible! Dried outrubbery chicken, sauce not as good as usual, fried rice just white rice with big chunks onion and skinny sliver of broccoli.Wontons and broth were dark brown and strange tasting.egg roll over cooked and don?t know what kind of meat was used.. Some of the best fried rice I have ever had.
I?m a very picky eater.. my coworkers rave about this place and I decided to order with them and got half a chicken well done... and pork fried rice? the chicken was the best I?ve had in years .. well done like I asked and soooooo flavorful.. the rice wasalso on point and very flavorful? as for the customer service? I ordered over the phone and i.t was the typical service I get atany other Chinese restaurant? but the food was deff 5stars.. I ordered again today and it was amazing !! Read more
Stay away from this place!!! Customer service is the worst. Rude people since the beginning when they?re taking the order over... the phone. They?re always right and client is never right. Just ordered take out from them because I was nearby. Orderedorange chicken and it was undercooked. When I called to let them know they claimed that?s how the chicken is cooked and that Iwas wrong and that without them seeing the chicken they wouldn?t agree or accept responsibility that I needed to bring thechicken back for them to check. Stupid statement on their part. I?m on the customer service business and my client is alwaysright. To make everything worse they said that they?re gonna refund me ONLY the chicken because they were absolutely sure I atethe rice and egg roll but not the chicken from the order ???????????. And finally they said didn?t wanted to listen myexplanation any more, so without even trying to resolve the situation in a better way they just agreed to refund the money onthat part of the order. I'm not sure if people who rated this place 5 stars went here while they were under different (better) management, but this... place is disgusting and the manager is rude. First red flag: I called in my order and I was on hold for 3-5 minutes. Never beenon hold with a Chinese restaurant that long before. They hung up on me when I was trying to give them the card number. I calledback and the lady had a stank attitude when I told her I wanted to add a card. Fast forward, I pick up my order an HOUR laterwhen all it was was sesame chicken and pork fried rice! And I don't live far! The pork fried rice was just a box full of grease.The chicken was okay, but then I found a long hair cooked in my chicken. COOKED in my chicken. How does that happen? I alreadyfound something in there that didn't even look like chicken, it kinda looked like a baby's thumb, halfway cooked. I tried not tolet that slide, but once I found the hair in my food, I thought it was unacceptable so I drove to the restaurant and asked forthe manager. I think her name was Ann. When I told her what I found in my food, she didn't look surprised. She was like "Do youwant us to remake it?" I declined and said I wanted a refund. "We don't do refunds here, and you had some of the food already.I'd be doing you a favor to be making it for you again" So I asked her "Why would I want it again if I found stuff in it? I'mnot satisfied" She said "Well that's too bad. Either we can make it for you again or you can leave my store but I'm not givingyou a refund. Makes no sense. Very average Chinese food. Could have used more spice and seasoning. Asked for my chicken extra spicy and it wasn't hot. Portion... sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. I really enjoyed the hot and sour soup! Read more
