I have been waiting for this place to open for a while and I have to say, I am NOT disappointed!! I had a shrimp po boy and it... was delicious. Bread so soft and shrimp was seasoned to the taste. The food was really good but my husband and I had a bad experience with the lady taking the order. She had a bad energy. Bad... vibe, we commended the food, said we will be back and all nice words but she was just not entertaning at all. It made us feelawkward, Plus can?t believe she charged my husband for an extra ketchup. This lady needs to smile coz we felt so weird after. (iread some people wrote the same review about her.) Won't be patronizing this place again. The woman taking orders isn't friendly and doesn't speak or even say thank you. Will go... to Cajun Boil in New haven instead. The sauce is better and they at least speak and say thank you. Read more
I got a create your own boil with lobster tail and black mussels with potatoes in garlic butter hot. The sauce was really good!!... Mussels tasted weird I can?t explain it, almost fake or maybe it was extremely over cooked. Lobster tail was good and potatoeswere ok. I would go again Read more
I don't like writing that a restaurant was this good because the reason anybody reads this stuff is to decide whether they want... to eat at said spot or not. It therefore becomes harder for me to get my food when I want it because you guys go into beastmode. Sigh! It was so friggin good y'all. I ate crab legs out of a plastic bag and I LOVED IT. Usually I'm queen of the organictribe but tonight it was plastic and corn and butter and sloppy fingers and I don't regret it!! This place is going to becomeone of my regular spots now. I've been waiting for some time for Crab 101 to open. It was worth the wait. The fish (Flounder and Whiting) was so delicious... and fresh. The seasoned fries were too. Portion size great. I had leftovers for next day and still fresh. I plan to go again andtry out some other food from their great menu. Read more
Combo had fantastic flavor but clams are so small you can't even taste them an so we're the crab legs. The shrimp an lobster was... excellent. Fries were excellent. Cole slaw was blah. Sausage was good. Read more
First time ordering here and it was DELICIOUS. Ready in 10-15 minutes, packed so securely, considering it was a saucy boil, and... everything was hot. We got the crab cake bites, so good, and the Combo 1 with extra corn and potatoes- It was more than enoughfor 2 people. We ordered the garlic butter sauce with the 101 sauce on the side- which ended up being my favorite. Nice &Friendly staff- definitely worth checking out! Read more
