1st time I visited I originally ordered 1 pepperoni pizza 2 orders of chicken wings (7piece)3 cans soda $74.00 when I question... why it was so much the guy had an attitude with me and addressed me in a way that was not professional For the price that theyare charging for pizza, it should taste much better. My niece said that it?s to much cheese and for an 9year old to say it tomuch well you decide. We finally decided on tossing the wings For 2 lg pepperoni and 3 cans of soda $ 50.00 I JUST GOT ROBBED BYTHE TALL ITALIAN GUY SMH NEVER AGAIN!!. The waitress was very up close and personal when we where eating our food that wasn?teven worth it. Another thing is that you must pay before you even eat that is ridicules. And it is self serve you must take yourown plate and play along with utensils. As a mother I feel that is very unsanitary because anyone could just touch any plateunnoticed GERMS. Read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I started out my order by first asking if they made calzones WITHOUT ricotta... cheese he said yes. Repeated my order back to me ?2 sausage calzones 1 bacon no ricotta cheese? when I got my order they all hadricotta. I called back & very politely said ?hey I ordered 3 calzones without ricotta they all have it.? He yelled to someone inthe background saying ?the 3 calzones weren?t supposed to have ricotta!? A different man got on the phone and said that?s notwhat you said! I said ?sir I know what I said you?re the 3rd pizza place I called asking the same question, plus you repeatedthe order back to me. Will you make them without the ricotta?? He proceeded to argue with me for about 5 minutes. This is hands down the best pizza around. I grew up on Captain's Pizza. I now live in NJ but whenever I visit my buddy who... lives in Bridgeport I make sure to get pizza for the two of us. The pizza is cooked in a pan so the crust comes up a little andis crunchy. The toppings are always great and the sauce not to salty or sweet. I'm always mad that I get full when I eatCaptain's pizza because I always want to eat more. If this place ever closes I don't know what I'll do. Just go there and eata pizza. . . the house special is outstanding but even a plain cheese is soo good. Read more

Not what it once was..prices went up..and yet served pizza that was burnt on the bottom and the flavor just wasn't there. I... miss the old captain's. Fyi..it is self-service..you place your order, seat yourself and obtain your own plates and anythingelse u need. This was the second visit in a row, that the pizza wasn't worth it..or the long wait. I ordered a large meatball pie. There was almost no sauce on it and a 1/4 inch of mozzarella. I like cheese but it was... ridiculously thick with it. Very bland in taste. I would have to assume that the chef doesn't sample the product otherwise itwould taste much better. Disappointed... Read more
