Another hidden spot in Bridgeport for good home cooked food. This is a small place not a great place to sit and eat i would... suggest a place for takeout. Two people were on the counter to take order they were prompt and pleasant. I tried the doublewhich is a roti with chickpea curry filling which was really good proper spices and taste. They had a proper blend for thechickpea curry this place has many Indian flavors. Stew chicken with white rice and yellow dal as an mini entree for 6.50$ whichis reasonable and proper for one person's meal. They have strong odor of used oil at this place I would prefer anyone to orderonline rather than waiting there. Overall it's a must try place good food low prices. Read more
I hate to give a bad review on this business but I hope the owner will see this and improve their customer service. I stumbled... upon this local eatery while I was going through the area and loved the food! I went back today and ordered an entrée and awrap to go. It took over 45+ minutes for them to make the food! I was like ok... no worries as I understand restaurants can getbusy with online orders and what not, drove back 1 hour as I live in Wolcott and when I opened the bag my order was completelywrong. Wrap wasn't what I requested and toppings were completely different and it was completely messy! I am pretty upset as Ipatiently waited and least they could have done was to double checked my order. Delicious food and great servings sizes! This is my go-to food spot whenever I'm in CT. My only recommendation is that take away... food is packaged in containers with covers that can be properly sealed, instead of styrofoam boxes. Most of the gravy alwaysspills out of those boxes by the time I get home :( Read more
