I don't normally frequent downtown Bridgeport, but when I had jury duty a couple years ago I stopped here for a bagel. The... other day I had to get my nephew to school so I remembered this place was good. I asked if they had anything on the menu withno meat (he's vegetarian) and there was one thing, so we got that for hom to bring to lunch. It was cream cheese, veggies, looked pretty good. No complaints. Also got a muffin for breakfast. About 9 bucks. The place was fairly clean, not that busywhen we got there, only 1 other patron. If I had reasons to be downtown, This would be my spot over the Dunkin donuts. It'spretty cozy inside. Im sure it gets busy once city hall opens, but this early (7am) it was pretty nice. I bought 3 sandwiches from the bagel King on Fairfield Avenue on February 24, 2018 at 7:39 AM my order number is number 14. I... received three of the absolute coldest sandwiches I have ever had in my life I received the bag with my sandwiches in them andand walked directly to my car that was parked 5 feet outside of the entrance. I Pulled one sandwich out while I was sitting inmy car no more than 30 seconds after I receive them and bit into it and the bread was luke warm at best and the insides of thesandwich were ice cold I love bagel King sandwiches but this location will not be receiving any more business from me. $12.09down the drain- lesson learned- I will wait the extra 30 minutes for the tasty yolk to open for now on. Good selection of tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Also has good salad options. Have reasonably priced specials that... include a canned beverage, select sandwiches, a pickle, and a small bag of chips for under $7. Love their pickles. Just wishthey had a wider selection of bagels like their other location on main Street. Read more
Just went here card machine down just like the reviews . My friend order a toasted bagel with cream cheese . Was not toasted... they put a nasty amount of cream cheese in there . They slapped it together like it was jail house food . Then my bacon egg andcheese cam out way to fast n I seen why bacon was the coldest thing on the sandwich so that means it was old .
