I tried out this restaurant for the first time. The ambience was quiet when I went. (Thursday night). I ordered the 2 pounds of... crawfish, they had a daily special 2pounds for $12. The crawfish though? ???? was fresh, cajun and spicy garlic flavored. Ipressed on the tail and the meat easily came out. So I knew it was fresh and not over cooked. They had a sauce, home made I?mthinking, but what I really enjoyed was the butter on the side. The butter tasted as if it had been stirred in sautéed garlic,and had minced parsley. Very flavorful! Second I had the Flounder. The rice was missing a bit of flavor. It was like a lightbrown rice, but perhaps I could have asked for a different type of rice? The flounder was nice and hot, but I think maybe wecan explore different batter types for the flounder, missing a tad of flavor and crunch. I think if the rice was different,then the plate would be balanced. Or if the batter on the flounder is changed , then then same rice would be okay, to balancethe flavors. The Coleslaw was DELICIOUS. I ended up pouring it over the flounder to give it some sweet and crunch flavor. Thecoleslaw had a mild sweetness, where I found myself not being able to stop eating it. It was thinly slices , and the carrotsgave it a nice color and sweetness. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. And my waitress Asia was nice. Brandy was absolutely amazing! JUST found out she was hired last night, but this was our first experience here and we look... forward to coming back. She kept the drinks full and helped us to feel at home by joking around with us. My daughter had thecatfish nuggets and they were also perfect! All of the seafood here is fresh and you can taste it, and the steak was well spicedand delicious, plus perfectly cooked! I look forward to my next girls day to come here! Read more
It has a small town place kind of feeling. But the food was just lacking. Overcooked and very basic with very little seasoning.
The food was pretty good. Stuffed mushrooms were excellent. Seafood was fresh & not overcooked. The shrimps & crawfish were... huge. Steak was ordered med rare. Served more rare than medium but my husband wasn't bothering the staff to fix it. He ate mosteverything else & we took the steak home to finish cooking it. The atmosphere was immature & appeared to be unmanaged. Staff wasplaying around while leaving several tables stacked with dirty plates. Some customers were leaving upon walking in. Half therestaurant was dark. This was our first time going... can't say if we will go back. If we do we'll get it to go. Read more
The food is consistently great as the pictures reflect. This is now become one of my favorite places to eat at. It certainly... isn't a fancy place but I care more about the quality of the food as that is what I go to a restaurant for. I have never had badservice, in fact last night we had an excellent waiter who was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant forsteak and shrimp! I have eaten here multiple times. This place is not what you would expect. It's not a traditional seafood and steakhouse, but worth giving a try. First of all,... the servers were lovely. They warned us before ordering that the flavors were different and offered us samples to make sure weliked it. I got the pork chop with shrimp and combo appetizer. My pork chop was over cooked but I still gave them 5 starsbecause everything else was delicious! I'll definitely be back again. Read more
