We just took the whole family for lunch today. The service was fast and friendly. The food was SO good! Their side salad is a... favorite and make sure you get the ranch dressing! My husband had the fried pork chop and said it is better than mine!!! We willdefinitely be back! Read more

Every time I go to David's Catfish in Brewton it's like going to David's Catfish everywhere. They treat you with respect and... they cater to your every need making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in to the moment you pay your bill and walkout. David's Catfish is not a seafood place. Don't confuse catfish with seafood. Seafood comes from the Gulf and the oceancatfish come out of ponds. Still you can get some good shrimp and a few other dishes that are Seafood but why would you want todo that when they have the best catfish in the world and the best service and staff I've ever seen. I have never been to David'sCatfish and tipped the waitress less than half of the bill. They work hard for what they make and I can promise you you tip themwell and when you go back they will remember you and your service will only get better. We were in the area and wanted to try a local establishment. The staff was attentive and we were never without a drink. The... sweet tea was great and my Corona was cold and crisp as one could ask for. That being said the catfish plate and deep friedpickles were nothing to brag about (pickles were way over battered, catfish was mushy, and hush puppies could of been used forgolf). Everyone we see one of these..we stop! Excellent catfish whole or fillet.. they're both do well seasoned, meaty and made hot to... order. I have to give a special shout-out for their coleslaw and my husband just raves over there seafood platter. The placealways has a nice homey vibe feels like you're sitting at your granddaddy's table eating his catch of the Day! I certainlyrecommend that you swing by whenever you see one of their signs it's a good value meal ! Read more
Not what it used to be. Tables are so sticky they either need to be refinished or at least covered. If the food was even near... what it used to be, the pricing would be ok. However, the food quality calls for a DRASTIC REDUCTION IN PRICE! I doubt seriouslythat we will ever go back unless we are assured that things have gone back to when quality food and customer service was thegoal at David's!!! Read more
