Reviews for Laurino's Tavern in Brewster, MA
As an experienced traveler and manager in the hospitality industry, I have visited Laurino?s Tavern twice now. Both times I ate... at the bar and observed the meals other patrons enjoyed. This restaurant is fantastic. The menu has a wide range of selectionsand generous portions. This chicken Caesar salad was fantastic with fresh romaine and cheese and house made dressing. I honestlywanted to order an entree too and will be returning to do so. Very friendly service. You can tell this place has a lot of heartwhen it?s busy with regulars on a Tuesday night. Wonderful bartenders and host staff both times I went. Also, the ambiance iswonderful; the fish aquarium especially adds character. One more thing- the outside seating area is comfortable and wellmaintained, and I appreciated the establishment?s message about dogs being welcome outside. Great local gem. Read more
This is one of the best secrets of the locals and tourists. Food is great! An Italian, Lasagna, pizza (both fantastic) yet great... dishes like mozzarella sticks, fish fingers are delish.....Old time, local Cape place you must try for relaxed, casualatmosphere... best of all ....Jeff's food!! Love this place! Read more
The food was excellent! We got a spicy Italian sausage grinder and a meatball grinder. They were cooked perfectly and really hit... the spot after a day of touring the Cape. I believe their tagline on their menu was along the lines of ?where the locals go? andI believe it. When we first entered, we asked if we could sit outside as it was a gorgeous day. Waitress told us only if we dida take out order, so we opted to sit inside. Aside from a few fellas sitting at the bar, the place was empty. I then watched asthe waitress attended to two parties arriving after us?.outside, full service?not take out. Maybe we weren?t the local flavor toenjoy outside service? Can?t win them all I suppose! Either way, if you?re passing through Brewster, MA and want a delicioussandwich and a cold brew, stop on by Laurino?s! Read more
Had a very nice meal here. Nice fresh salad, tasty food served hot. Server was friendly and attentive. Seems to be the place... the locals go. Would go there again. Read more
The clam chowder was good, but the bowl wasn't much bigger than the cup. Both pizzas were good. Plenty of toppings and cooked... perfectly. Bring your cash as there's a 4% upcharge for credit cards. Read more
I wish i can give them more stars but my heart is not letting me do it. For the food i will give 4 stars for sure ... almost... perfect. We had craving for pasta and that was one of not many restaurants in upper Cape that served pasta. So pasta taste good- really good. We also ordered garlic bread but was soaked in oil . For Service if there was a negative start i will do it. Ourserver - the only one server in the entire place was flying all over the restaurants in and out. He was extremely busy we cansee that and toke less than min to get our order ... of course he did not get it write ... We got our wrong food first than thedrinks ... The lady who bring us the food wasn't happy with us telling her that we did not ordered what she is bringing and samemoment we missing a meal ... long story short she make it work and we got really quick what we actually ordered. The waiterapologize to us with the excuse that was his second day working there ... Anyway i will give a try again just because of thefood I hope their services get better Read more
The staff is always really friendly, even when they?re busy. The bread is the best I?ve had (one of the reasons why we keep... coming back 5 out of the 7 nights we spend in Cape Cod every year. You can probably close your eyes and pick something random inthe menu, and you?ll be happy. But do yourself a favor and try a specialty pizza Read more
Great service! There was only 1 person manning both the tables and the bar. She was definitely an all star. The food was also... very good too! Good portion sizes vs the price. The fried fish sandwhich was delicious. It was one of the best fish sandwhichesI had while on the cape and we visited quite a few "famous seafood stops" in wellfleet, chatham, and ptown. The fish sandwhichesive had over there didnt measure up to this one. The fish was crunchy fried and tender flakey on the inside. The chicken parmsandwhich was good as well with nice slabs of chicken breast meat. I am not usually a fries person but the fries were very good.It was nice and crunchy and very well seasoned. It didn't need any ketchup at all. The food isn't fancy but it is very good.Don't miss out. Read more
