We were really looking forward to having lobster. Called to place an order for pick-up, but they were sold out of lobster. The... girl talked me into ordering three lobster rolls instead. We also ordered steamers and clam chowder. Picked up the order closeto their closing time. Get to our house and open everything. It all looked great, the clam chowder was delicious, as were thesteamers. Then it came time for the lobster rolls. They looked amazing, so much lobster meat. Yet to our huge disappointment,they were completely inedible. All three were the most disgusting rolls we've ever had in our lives. And that is saying a wholelot. The meat was undercooked. Not only that, it was completely soaked in excessive amounts of mayo and lemon, to the point thatwe couldn't even taste the lobster itself, just the mayo and lemon. The tiny pieces of bread under the lobster were so soaked inmayo, they were completely falling apart, with puddles of mayo on the bottom. I don't understand how anyone could take so muchlobster meat and make it completely inedible. It's just sad. So we spent all this money and couldn't even eat this trash, ittasted so horrible. Plus, couldn't even call to complain because they were closed. And to the owner, who I'm sure is going toreply to this, we were too busy the next day to bother to deal with this, which we shouldn't have to do in the first place. Itshouldn't have happened to begin with. For whoever made these "lobster rolls", thanks for ruining our dinner. *Update* Inresponse to the unbelievable and shocking lies the owner wrote, I actually find what you made up hilarious. I specifically askedthe girl on the phone not to put lettuce or celery on the rolls. The steamers were available at 7:30pm on September 6th when Iplaced the order. Delicious food and friendly workers. Beautiful outdoor porch and decent amount of food! Will definitely revisit!
My son had his first ?real? lobster roll at JT?s & loved it! The regular size was so full of lobster he had to fork some meat... out first before he could pick it up to eat. Everything we had was, ?OMGoodness!? Read more
Only stopped for ice cream. Staff were very friendly. Every treat we had was delicious. Sorry to see another restaurant adopt... the upcharge for using your credit card. Just build it into the cost of your product like businesses have done for years. Read more
JT?s without question is my go to place for traditional New England seafood dining. From the scallop roll to the colossal... lobster roll to their Lobster BLT. I?ve never had a bad experience. Most importantly, it?s a family run business who areinstrumental in community relations by participating in an initiative by helping deliver meals to seniors in the off season. Considering the economic hell that is plaguing our nation, their prices are on par with all other seafood restaurants on thispeninsula. The family who runs this business are kind, generous and absolutely love the town of Brewster. I highly recommenddining out at this long time staple. Try the Lobster BLT, it?s the best I ever had. JTs is the place to go on Cape Cod if you?re looking for delicious food! Not only is the seafood amazing, but they?ve also... started to incorporate fun new items on the menu. However, try not to eat too much as you have to save some room for theirdelicious ice cream which they have a variety of flavors to choose from ????
