Reviews for Las Palapas Mexican Restaurant in Brewer, ME

Once you are seated, they give you a full basket of tortilla chips and a flask of salsa. Stone bowls for the salsa give an added... presentation. The wait staff is extraordinarily quick, approaching a speed that rivals a fast-food burger. The Las Palapasburrito is immense at ~14-16 inches long and crowded with a delightful medley of flavor. My only complaint is I am leftwondering where they find tortilla shells of such remarkable size. We are looking forward to our next visit. Read more

Amazing Mexican music that my baby loved and he stayed quiet and smiling the whole time. Amazing good quality food, drinks, and... caring Hispanic workers. I love the bright colors, enthusiastic workers, clean, and great prices. I come from Texas so I am usedto the best of the best Mexican food and this is by far the best place in New England 10/10. Long time fan of both the Brewer and Bangor Las palapas. Had a wonderful dinner and got to treat my daughter to a night out.... She's not very adventurous with food not cooked at home, but loves every visit that we make to this place. Always excellentfood, and matching service. I myself Emma latina, and this is the closest thing you will get to authentic Mexican food, withextremely reasonable prices. You will not be disappointed! Read more

Hands down the best place to eat!!! The food is mouthwatering, the margaritas are perfect. But its the staff that brings me back... everytime!! So polite and attentive in and out in a half hour with a half full restaurant. Just WOW if you haven't tried thisplace you are missing out on a treasure. Read more

High expectations turned into disappointment. Everything on every plate was soggy and watered down.. no texture to the tamales... or tortilla.. meat was mush.. my Poblano pepper was left uneaten. Water poured out when I cut it in half. I ate most of my platesimply because I was starving and this was lunch. Read more

I had a great experience! The food was very good!! I highly recommend them!! Marden's is across the road in Brewer so I hit... that, too! I had heard on I-95 radio they were popular for lunch, so I am glad I went. I had already eaten in their Bangorrestaurant near the Bangor Mall and that was very good, also! Read more

Fantastic food and amazing service!! We got enchiladas supreme and modified it considerably - changed cheese to spinach and... beans to shrimp enchiladas. Then switched out beans for the rice. Our server didn?t write down a word but it came out exactlythe way I wanted it! Best of all - both dishes with teas was under $26.00!!! Read more
