I went in today to place an order for some cookies and a cake for my son?s upcoming first birthday. I was surprised to see a new... face across the counter, and came to find out that the shop is now under new management. The new owner is SO delightful and kind- which is quite the upgrade from the bitter women who owned this shop for so many years. I was happy to hear that the new ownerbought all of the recipes from the previous owner, because the desserts they made were so good. The new owner also offers someamazing vegan options now, too! My family has been loyal to the flour shop for over a decade, and we don?t plan on stoppinganytime soon! Read more

I loved this place under the previous owner and was so glad to hear it passed on to someone new rather than shutting down. The... new owner is FANTASTIC! Yes I did write the review below, but today I found out what was going on. I am not deleting my prior post because I?m sure... there are others out there that have had similar issues. Because of other business in the area they had to alter the hours ofoperation. If that was not bad enough they have to work on getting the business up to code. So though they are open they arenot truly open So if you are like I was frustrated because things have changed do not give up on this bakery now more than everthey need everyone?s business and understanding. During my frustration we used other bakeries but as always there are no bettercakes and pastries than the ones that come from the Flour Shop Bakery in Brentwood TN This place is making me crazy since thenew owner has taken over For the 2nd time I am going to have to buy a cake for a family birthday last minute from the grocerystore because no one will return calls or answer the phone.
