This wasn't my cup of tea. I tried this sandwich thing, which was like ropa veijia in a roll, with some mayonnaise based sauce.... It was no bueno. The agua de Jaimica was great. The rest, pass. I hate wasting goof empty calories on 3 star tacos / Mexicanfare when there are so many 5 star joints around. Read more

A little spot with huge flavor I just happened to be driving on Rhode Island Avenue and peeped that a new restaurant had opened... called Little Miner Taco. It's a small spot with an even smaller parking lot, but the flavors of the entrees kind of caught meoff guard. On my visit, I tried a single Grilled Chicken Street Taco, the Chicken Tinga Empanadas and the Rice and Beans. Inoticed that a few of my sauces weren't placed in the bag, so I used it as an excuse to go back for another Grilled ChickenStreet Taco. I hate to admit it, but I practically inhaled the tacos. Little Miner Taco have the best tacos that I have everhad in my life and I am not exaggerating. I find myself traveling there on a weekly basis because the food is just that good. Iam not a fast foodie, so my car won't ever pull onto a parking lot of a chain spot for a taco. I have officially added Little Miner Taco into my top 10 and once you give them a try, you will too. They have a few locations, but the one that I frequent islocated at 4308 Rhode Island Avenue, Brentwood MD. Read more

This is located where Las Margaritas Mexican Restaurant once stood. We sat outside on wood bench/tables in the parking lot.... There is very little seating generally and much of the business is take-away. The food is excellent. One does not need to digdeep to find familiar dishes with slight creative modifications. There is NO ambiance. There is NO service. Everything isprovided as if you intended to pick it up. As a take-away place, one might find the prices a bit expensive. If you live in thearea, it is best to order ahead and take it home. Read more

Food is excellent, service is quick & efficient, and nice outdoor seating. Ordering is by a touch screen and Is the best system... I’ve seen. They provide pictures of every item and everything customizable. We ordered the Taco Fiesta for 2 and an order ofchips & guacamole. Everything was tasty, well seasoned, and cooked properly. The prices do seem high but when you see the amountof food then the price is worth it. I wish the wish there was a little more spice in the tacos but they were delicious. My onlycomplaint would be the drinks did not come with ice so they were not cold. We did have an issue with our food but staff/mangerdealt with it immediately and correctly which was nice. -0.25 star for drinks not having ice. -0.75 star for issue with food Read more

Came here tonight for some dinner with my partner and experienced the worst service I’ve ever experienced there. As a regular... customer I typically order the same thing but for some reason Mirna would not allow my order to be made. I usually requestdouble wrapped tacos (as they are usually very oily and fall apart easily) which is always accommodated, but tonight it was notallowed. I offered to pay extra or even order an additional item to make up for the cost but neither was allowed. When I triedto cancel the order and get a refund, Mirna refused, handing me an email that she said i would have to use to cancel. On top ofall of that, the cleanliness has gone all the way down hill, trash was everywhere, the cooks were eating food as they weremaking peoples orders, failing to change gloves while touching dirty surfaces like the trash can; at this point the place is acovid/food poisoning death trap. Would love to return but if this is how the service and standards are at the new location iwon’t be back and will direct all of my friends and family to surf side or bandit taco in DC where the food is just as good. Ordered birria de res burrito and quesadilla. Flavorful but a little heavy for our tastes. Guacamole and chips were delicious.... Pricey. Read more

As a Texan now living in DC, with a partner from New Mexico it is so hard for us to find decent tacos! I miss Tex-Mex so much!... These are the r closest to authentic tex-Mex as I’ve found in my four years living here! Would like a bit more spice, butI’ll ask for extra next time. Read more

The chicken quesadilla and the street corn were delicious, my family had the birria, look too oily. I like the fast service,... not too busy, lot of tables and convenient parking garage... food is good, it's just too expensive. Read more
