First off for proof ive tried multiple times to upload the pictures every time it zooms in on something that isnt the subject of... what im talking about in the picture then the picture doesnt show correctly when its clicked on this has happened to me beforeit seems when posting a complaint wierd anyways if interested in proof you can contact me or ask and ill just send the screenrecordings of me editing and reediting to show the chicken heres the story Went for dinner, ordered the Pollo Diablo soundeddelicious when I got it after everyone else's food burnt doesn't even begin to describe it I worked in the restraunt industry asa cook and had I let anything like that out of the kitchen I probably would have been fired immediately. I have never ate out inmy almost 32 years of life and had a more burnt and dry piece of chicken anywhere or at anytime. Don't waste your time or money. Read more
I ordered the beef and chicken fajitas at this restaurant. The manager was the one who waited on me. He seemed short with... hospitality, but I just passed it off as everyone has a bad day right? At the time there was no one was in the restaurant exceptthe manager and a full table of Hispanic gentlemen right beside the managers table. So when the food came, it was like wow! Thatwas fast? soon to figure out why? Zoom in on the chicken fajitas that they served me. Picture taken right after it was broughtout. I separated it from the beef because of this? As the manager sat back down near the group are beside them, they spokeSpanish. I?m sure they didn?t think I could understand them. I noticed them laughing as I looked over. So picking the chickenout from the hot plate and taking a pic. Hmmm?Was the chicken picked out of the trash, or left over from 12 noon as the time Iwas there was 5pm-ish. First time being there on the way back from the lake, heard great things about the kids area. Could be cleaner to say the most.... 50/50 on what we ordered for what was good and was no Bueno! 3 waiters later and ordering twice over we did get our food though.See pic for "Mexican flag enchiladas". I really liked this place the first few times I went, especially because my nieces enjoyed themselves in the playground. But it... seems like every time I go the service and food gets worse and worse. And now I feel like it?s time for a review. This was whatI got for lunch today a ?large? caldo de pollo, and this was the amount of chicken in that little cup (which at first I mistookfor a small to-go coke). Not only was there the least possible amount of chicken in the soup, but it was cut up into cubes andso dry. I have never had a Mexican caldo that had cubed chicken, it is usually on the bone. We have eaten at more than one Las Fuentes, and always enjoyed it. Today at this location in Brenham, the service and speed of... receiving our food left a bit to be desired, but the food itself was good. The salsa had a bit of a burn which I like. Thecharro beans were a little salty but still good, the pico de gallop had a great line twang to it, and the guacamole was not toochunky. My entree, I think it's called Melissa's Plate, was chicken and shrimp in a creamy sauce with mushrooms and poblanopepper on a bed of rice. My husband had shrimp tacos. We were both happy with them. Overall, I will absolutely eat at any LasFuentes again. Read more
