Stopped here while passing through town. The food was delicious. Steaks cooked perfectly. Our server Ali was super friendly and... helpful. She suggested we try the mama tried ipa on draft bc it was locally brewed and it was great. Can't wait to pass throughagain and hope Ali is still there to greet us. First time visiting Brenham. Had a lunch meeting and must say I was impressed with the meal. Chicken Fried Steak, mashed... potatoes with garlic and grilled asparagus. I found it delicious. Second time in my life to have eaten chicken fried steak.Service was good as well. As a visitor, I found the restaurant quaint and nice. The ambience was more of a saloon feel. Not the best. 4 of us had dinner here. Rib eye was cooked well and seasoned perfectly but it was very thin for a $33 steak.... Salmon and shrimp with half the salmon overcooked. Calamari was just normal, nothing special served with tarter sauce but I likeit much more with marina or a sweet chili siracha sauce. Sides were not well seasoned and plain. Wouldn?t go again.
