Delicious street tacos! Homemade horchata. Filling portions. Can take out or sit and eat there.

This place is a hidden gem!!! The reviews do not lie. Ordered the quesabirria tacos (x4) with consome and a cali burrito for my... folks - and let me tell you, that everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The tacos were bigger than I expected, stuffedwith all that deliciuos meat and cheese - and the consome was savory and so fragrant! The cali burrito is something to be shared- it's got tons of flavor and stuffed with all the fixings and french fries. It is the size and thickness of a beefy man's arm.Well worth the price and tucked away in the most inconspicous of places - Chevron! The people were friendly and they made myorder right away. In the immortal words of Terminator - "I'll be back!" Read more

Who would think that this Mexican food place inside a gas station convenience store is a hidden gem?! I got my birria taco... craving satisfied! I got four of them and they were huge! I couldn’t finish them. I also got the bacon wrapped burrito, fishtacos ( for my son), and melon and strawberry and cream drink. Unfortunately, they ran out of the horchata. Nevertheless, everything tasted great!!! Read more

I had heard of this place through the grapevine and made a trip special all the way up to Silverdale to eat tacos at a gas... station. The location is perfect because it's tacos in a gas station. Don't question it. The menu is bar bones with some coolnonsense thrown in like their Birriaqueso tacos. I liked seeing the variety that they had. My order was just the Birriaquesotacos and the cup of consomme. I got one without cheese to try the meat. The tacos are awesome as you'd expect but the dippingliquid didn't add as much as I had hoped. I didn't get to eat more because the tacos were massive so I still left satisfied. Theonly annoying part was the guy taking the order. Copied and pasted from the bad part of the 90s was this dyed blond hairedmonster with an Insane Clown Posse shirt yelling about Covid vaccinations. This guy was the only reason for the 4 stars.Otherwise it was perfect. You might have heard about this place on King 5 and otherwise would have never tried it. But it'sworthwhile and pretty damn great. Read more

This place is awesome. Love the Rico burro but quesaberria are good too. The only bad thing is everyone is finding out how good... this place is and there are wait times of 15 - 35 minutes. Read more

I guess I will be the odd man (woman) out. After watching the story on Taco Rico on King 5 news, I knew I had to try it. I knew... exactly what I wanted! I went into the Chevron Station a little early, hoping to find a to-go menu; they had none. Standingaround and watching the staff, none of them looked happy. Once they opened, I asked one of the employees working there if theyhad a to-go menu. There was a little bit of a communication breakdown; I couldn't understand or hear anything they said, andafter asking two of the employee several times, I just gave up and went to order. I did a couple of glances at the giantscreens to see what they offered, each item sounding better than the last one; and the prices looked decent. But I was set onhaving tacos for lunch, so I placed my order, promptly paid; the gentleman working there didn't say anything to me, just pushedthe receipt over to me to sign and then took it back. After receiving my order from a woman, I said thank you and have a greatday. I was hoping for the same response, but to my dismay, I was confronted with silence. Now, about the tacos, the servingsize included three tacos. They were indeed the size of street tacos; I chose beef as my meat, included on the tacos were onionsand cilantro. The two sauces were a creamy hot sauce (I was a little confused by the creamy part of it) and the other greensauce, which I did not try but seemed extremely watery. Unfortunately, I wasn't that impressed; although the ingredients seemedfresh, the taco as a whole was drier than I expected them to be, and the meat dry and flavorless. Aside from the food notmeeting my personal expectations, what disappointed me most was the lack of manners; I have always said good manners go a longway. A restaurant can have mediocre food with good service, and typically people like myself will return and give it another go.I find myself cutting my losses and moving on; perhaps I will return and try something else they have to Read more

Best place to get the most true "asta la madre" tacos. Overall this place has certainly surpassed any other taco joints in... Kitsap. Nice little small business. Good folks, even better food. Known for their best in Kitsap tasting Quesabirria tacos. Read more
