I ordered an Autumn Apple Salad. It was very yummy :) I got excellent service.
The barista was a really nice gentlemen who whipped up my Sinister 3.0 coffee with a cool looking caricature in the foam. Some... of the best coffee I've ever had; this guy is a true artist! I went to use the restroom and came out when I heard loud yelling.The room became dark and some dude with a sheriff badge and a red light on his bicycle helmet was threatening the barista with adisplay bagel! Suddenly, the lights turned green and the manager just appeared out of nowhere. He had a robotic voice, largemessy mustache and didn't seem like he was all there if you know what I mean. I ran out of there and found a huge commotionoutside. Then the front doors banged open with mist pouring out. The manager emerged from the mist to address the officerssurrounding the establishment. During his speech, the clouds turned dark and green lightning made a tornado around the manageras he levitated upward. The police equipment and some people got sucked into the tornado including the poor barista. I found ascooter laying on the ground and booked it to the local storm shelter! I'll be sure to check the weather before returning to theMean Bean and I hope that barista is okay. Read more
I don't understand! I came around in the middle of the afternoon on a week day, the place said "Closed" on the front window and... there was a freaking red F- food inspection rating just below it! It didn't seem right! I tried to peak inside and it was reallydark, but there was this guy standing there waving robot hands at these giant screens on the wall, like he was creating avatarsor something. Omg.... The Big Daddy Biscuits are incredible! I've never eaten any breakfast combo so good! Also egg croissant sandwich and... pancakes yummy yummy! Local farmers provide fresh ingredients. Oh and anyone who likes chocolate milk, order the Frozen Hot Chocolate and I ask them to add a little vanilla too it..... Gahhh! so good! And the coffee is also amazing. We went to Mean Bean Bistro for the the first time today. I had seen their posts on Instagram and knew we needed to try them. So... delicious! We ordered the Classic Roast Beef and the Mushroom Gouda Melt and split each. We can't decide which was better soboth sandwiches get four thumbs up! The atmosphere was very happy...great place to linger over coffee and conversation. Staffwas knowledgeable and friendly. We'll be back soon! Read more
