The sushi was amazing! We read good things about this place so stopped in our first night in town for dinner - it did not... disappoint! The restaurant was cute with indoor and outdoor seating and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. We orderedthe crab potstickers (fried) as an appetizer and while delicious you only receive 3 for $15 ($10 during happy hour), the 121Roll and the Breckenridge Roll, house sake and a Whiskey Maca Sour. Awesome place to grab poke or sushi in Breckenridge. Wide selection of house wine and sake. They have a small selection of... cooked entrées and appetizers. Lots of cooked and raw sushi options. The inside is comfortable, but the tables are closetogether...so when the restaurant is busy its a little crammed. Overall great experience, will return again. Read more
It was so good we ate at the Blue Fish twice this week. We enjoyed excellent Sashimi (tuna and salmon), Japanese Fried Chicken... with KimChi mayo, an amazing tuna, crab and avocado tower. And the pièce de résistance of their Mega Lobster roll. Read more
Absolutely incredible food, and I don't even like sushi. The seared tuna was the best I've ever had, and the katzu chicken... really hit the spot after a long day on the slopes. Also recommend the stuffed jalapenos with cream cheese and crab! Read more
Dined in with them and ordered take out another day, both times the staff was absolutely rude. Their “company policy” trumps... customer service. The food is decent if you get their signature rolls, but their basic spicy tuna rolls or salmon rolls suck.For take out they insisted multiple times that dine in tip was not included and must be applied. Hung up on customer and had torecall. States that they are “too busy”. Not sure why she’s insisting on a tip? And for the dine in experience we had aparty of 10 which they were unable to seat so we split (which was totally fine) but they insisted they bill us as onetable. Would recommend the rainforest roll. First, I don't write reviews very often, but I had to once we visited here. The sushi was the best I've ever had, and I love... trying new sushi restaurants. We went as a group and had 8 different rolls, each one did not disappoint! Our server, Charlie wasabsolutely outstanding. He was knowledgeable, respectful, fun, and loved what he does. I honestly haven't had service like thisin years! When we come back to Breckenridge we will definitely stop back here! Read more
This place is worth way more than the 4.4 rating it has on google. We were a bit skeptical about sushi in landlocked Colorado... but it’s no joke when I say this is literally the BEST sushi I’ve ever had and I’m a coastal CA native. I’m not a Sakeperson but my dinner party was raving about how good the hot house sake was. Now onto the service itself. The hostess was lovelyand quickly found a spot for our party of six. Our server Charlie was wonderfully attentive and gave fantastic suggestions formain course and desert. (Mochi). He also spent a little time at our table after bringing our check to make sure we got the mostout of our trip to Breckenridge. Prices range around the 12~20 per meal but it’s well worth for the quality of the fish.Highly HIGHLY recommend The Blue Fish if you’re in Brek and in the mood for some seafood. We were looking for a spot in a pinch for dinner and found The Blue Fish on Open Table. It was AMAZING! Left an hour ago and had... to write a review. The food was delicious, our sushi rolls were perfectly crafted, and the place was gorgeous. Our server Brockwas extremely hospitable.
