I am from Texas, but my granddaughter lives in Louisiana, even though the food was good, it was different from what I'm used to.... I asked the waitstaff, they said they changed the taste to satisfy the locals. But I would recommend this place. Read more

I will not be returning here. I went here for take out yesterday and I noticed that the host that took the payment added his own... tip to my credit card receipt. I only signed the receipt,I did not had a tip. So today I got a text with the new balance. Theydidn't have to falsify the receipt. So don't wipe your debit or credit card here. Cash only. Stopped by this place for lunch on our way back home to Texas. The service is good but the food was terrible. I guess maybe... because I am used to Texas Mexican food? We decided to try this place after out swamp your nearby. It was great! It has a very colorful interior and fun decor. Food was... inexpensive and the portions were big. Word on the streets was that they had great margaritas but since I was driving, I had topass! I enjoyed most of my meal, but was disappointed with my chili relleno. They seemingly did not roast the chili beforestuffing and frying so it wasn't as good as it could have been. My son loved his steak burrito although he added a bunch ofstuff to it himself.. cheese dip, lettuce, tomatoes, and rice. The fried ice cream was wicked good! Read more
