In these tough times I really hate to leave a negative review, but I think the owner(s) need to know a patron's experience. My... wife and I have enjoyed Qdoba restaurants all across the Midwest so I am basing my displeasure on some experience. Today I wentto the Branson Qdoba restaurant and while waiting at the counter was initially ignored by one young who was doing nothing whileanother young man was busy restocking a cooler behind the counter. The store was empty and after the young man doing nothingwalked out and stood on the back patio a few moments, he re-entered the store and walked behind the counter, getting his rubbergloves he asked me what I wanted. I asked for two "Protein Bowls" to go. I then asked for "pinto" beans instead of "black"beans. He immediately stopped and said I should order a "bowl your way" because "he said" they can't substitute anything. I saidmy wife and I have made the same order here and at other Qdoba stores with no problems. The young man said that didn't matter, Ican't substitute black beans for pinto beans. I was stunned as I didn't ask for any other substitutions. I looked at the youngman and said, "so you'd rather loose a sale of two meals rather than "substitute" a spoonful of black beans for spoonful ofpinto beans. To which he simply shrugged his shoulders and removed his gloves. I left the store wondering about the costdifference between black beans and pinto beans. I live in Branson and even though my wife and I have enjoyed food from thisstore in the past, we will never patronize it again, as well as sharing this experience with friends and others. Read more

I was a little taken aback when I ordered a burrito and was blatantly told by the staff-member that he didn?t know how to roll... them and I would be better off ordering a bowl. When I insisted on the burrito, he did in fact break the tortilla in the rollingprocess and got a second tortilla to double wrap it. Then broke that one too. Would have been nice to get a burrito at a burritoplace. Read more

I didn't know the name was a Mexican restaurant name or would have been there sooner, as a local. Loved building my plate of... FRESH food with your staff. I just read Dan's review to go to Aranda's. I wonder if he is a relative of Aranda's owner. When Iwent to Aranda's it was one of the worst experiences I've had so I haven't been back and I got very ill afterwards. Go to Qdobainstead. To the Qdoba owner's review: In today's world of bad service saying it is because of lack of staff when that is only afraction of their problem; (I've been a business owner & interviewed staff this year for a company), my experience at yourrestaurant was a refreshing change. Yesterday was my first visit with my wife and we both loved it! I had the brisket and she had chicken, we both had wheat... quesadillas. I love being able to pick my own ingredients and they have a nice selection. The price is a bit steep compared toother similar places in my opinion, but the quality of food AND great service can't be beat! I'll definitely eat there again. Read more
