The atmosphere was nice and reminded me of pizza places from the 1980s. The service was friendly, but not great. The food was... also good, but not great. If you're looking for authentic Chicago style pizza, this probably isn't the place because the pizzajust isnt traditional Chicago style pizza. But, if you're looking for good pizza with a thicker, crispy crust then this will beright up you're alley. You should absolutely stop in and give it a whirl. Read more

There's a theme in some of my reviews. This is yet another place I went to as a kid. My parents owned one of the resorts down... the street before the landing was built right where MacaDoodles sits. I'm leaving this review reluctantly and rooted inselfishness. I don't want anyone to find it so there is plenty of room for myself when I arrive. This is a local gem thatprovides a more private and personal experience coupled with AMAZING Chicago style pizza. The toasted ravioli was also superb. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is cleeeaaaannnn. Although, this is a local hangout you are made to feel welcomedbecause when you're here... you're family. Great food! Recommended to us by one of the locals and did not disappoint! The cheese bread was perfect, and the Chicago style... pizza was great! Daughter got the fettuccini and it was good as well. Looked like they started to get a little busy toward theend of dinner and service got a little slower, but I'm wondering if maybe they were a little short handed. Highly recommend!! Read more

I would give this place 5 stars on the service alone. Katie did an amazing job handling guests & working the bar area. The food... was amazing in itself! That Tony Orlando salad was delicious with a great balance of all those toppings along with the homemadeItalian dressing. My wife and I also wanted to split it so that was a great way to do it because it was certainly big enough. Igot the Italian Beef sandwich with fries. Man, I miss those Italian Beefs from Chicago. This one did not disappoint one bit!Great blend of shaved roast beef, peppers, and mozzarella! The au jus was a great accompaniment. We also decided to splurge on adeep dish, the Mr. G's Signature, and that one did not disappoint. It was their twist on the deep dish supreme. And it wasbalanced well with all the toppings! We will definitely be back when we are back in town. Oh and the pictures are togo boxesbecause we originally wanted the order to go.. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! A medium cheese pizza, medium meat lovers, an Italian beef sandwich, toasted ravioli, and... Buffalo wings ? all was a solid A! The Italian beef was packed with flavor and we absolutely loved the cheese pizza. I did atake-out order and drove all the way to Ozark before eating it and the food was still delicious. Nice and cozy pizza parlor near the landing in Branson, MO. We had garlic parmesan fries for our appetizer. Yummy! The meat... lovers mini pizza was just the right size for me. Great flavor.
