This is some of the best home-cooking in Branson. We had the kids chicken strips, burger(which tasted like it came straight from... the charcoal grill) , French toast, and roast beef. We had absolutely no food left when we were done. Highly recommend. Myparents love this place for breakfast. Read more
Home cook?n almost as good as Momma?s ???????? The dining room is small, so a wait may be in order, but it?s worth it. They... were busy when we dined in, our order took about 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen but everything was hot and fresh. Myburger order showed up with cheese, and our gravy on the side was on top of the mashed taters, but there?s definitely room forgrace. Breakfast is served all day and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the prime downtown location. We had:burger & fries, hot beef & taters, kids chicken strip & taters, and French toast. Been trying to eat here several times over the years but the wait time is always astronomical due to the intimate spacing. Today... I asked and they said 20 minutes (I silently started cheering inside). The hostess and server were both very friendly and thedecor was very fitting. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner with red skin mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra and ahomemade biscuit. The wait time wasn't too long for a busy place. When my plate arrived I immediately delved into my biscuit andit was tasty! Then I started on my okra, phenomenal! The red skin mashed potatoes were everything you can hope for and more. Thechicken fried steak was smothered in gravy and was absolutely delicious. You can't get that tastiness at home. After finishingmy plate I denied blackberry cobbler (sobbing inside to keep my price down). After finishing our meal we visited there upstairsgift shop which had a lot of nice things with farmhouse restaurant mugs and shirts. Will definitely be back and willing to wait. Read more

I could almost hear the old dinner bell ringing across the ranch as Grandma called us in for another one of her famous home... cooked country dinners? If this is what you are looking for, you don?t have to search any longer! I was so pleased with thisamazing home cooked meal. I got the flat steak and it melt in my mouth. The green beans are to die for and the flakiestButtermilk Biscuit ever! The menu is packed with great options for anyone and you don?t have to eat dinner! They servedbreakfast all day long if that?s your thing. This place is popular, there was a decent line of waiting outside but the wait wasonly about 20 minutes. The customer service here is great and food was delivered warm and fairly quickly. Definitely would comeback again.
