This restaurant has been on the main street of Branford for many, many years. When our family from down south would come to... visit, we would always eat here, then say our goodbyes. The restaurant moved into their own building for quite a few years, butnow they are back on main street. The food is very good and our waitresses attentive! Down home cooking that has remained thesame! Thank you Branford Gathering.... for many fond memories of gathering with family and friends over a deliciousmeal!???? Update: We tried the chicken stir fry... at the end of 2021. It was so delicious! ???? The weather was perfect for apicnic by the Branford River. A nice little quaint place to eat in the country. I ate outdoors and never went inside the actual building. Food was good. The... acre peas were actually field peas. Mash potatoes had been setting too long in a heated container and were getting hard and dry.But, they were not instant potatoes. It was the real deal. I'd eat there again. Read more
