Food tastes like it was made by prissy shoreline boys trying to imitate Mexican food. They call themselves ?guacamole? but the... guac they make is overpowered by lime, and otherwise it?s bland. the half decent sauce they put on my burrito made it palatable,which is why I?m giving one star instead of 3. Food isn?t the issue, the place itself is filthy, even outside! You have a PRIME location, treat it that way! The outside... furniture is disgusting, they do nothing to care for the place. Paint, clean up, pull the weeds & plant something in the front!And, the service, seriously, it is the worst! It?s noticeably not as busy as it was when they first opened!! The food is was terrible. I think they really need an experienced restaurant manager to explain that the serving is not just... about getting food out of the kitchen. We arrived and were seated immediately on a not so busy night. We were given chips andsalsa but it took 45 minutes for a waiter to come over to ask us for our drink order. He then proceeded to push to get our foodorder in as well. After 20 minutes the drinks arrived and there was a problem with the order. After another 15 minutes the drinkorder was resolved in the food was put down on the table. I noticed there was another table that was. Normally when people theywant to be served their drinks have some conversation maybe order appetizers, and then enjoy their meal followed by dessert. Absolutely delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. Everything from the bean dip to the perfect frozen margarita. The seafood... special was amazing. I laughed when it came out, because there was so much! I loved to see such a variety on one plate,, likethe cactus and octopus salad. Fish and shrimp. There was so much flavor. This was my first visit and I'm not certain if I will return. The food looked great but was overcooked causing the meat to be... very dry. For a Mexican restaurant I did expect more flavor and seasoning. The rice was made well and the chips were enjoyable.I think the restaurant did a good job with COVID restrictions but I was concerned with other things like how slippery thebathroom floors were and the fact that my family had dead fruit flies in their drinks twice. The prices were reasonable but Iwas charged for everything "extra" like sour cream, cheese, salsa, pico. The staff sometimes appeared to be overwhelmed howeverthey remained friendly and helpful.
