The pizza is solid (not great) and anything other then that is mediocre at best. Add to that how frequently they mess up your... order (wrong type of pizza, off by estimate of pickup time by more then 15 minutes so it?s cold when you get there, or justforgetting about your order) and it?s hard to give more then 3 stars. Tried until I couldn?t. I am fully aware the world is short staffed and I tried to be patient. Ordered delivery?was told 55 min.... After 75 min called and was told food was left on the porch?! Okay it was but the wrong house. Got the order and it was just onepizza I ordered 2. Called and was told the driver left the Other pizza somewhere else?! But the pizza that wasn?t deliveredwould be leaving the restaurant right now?.I live ten minutes away. After 25 min I called and was told w an attitude we had tomake a whole other pizza?transparency is key and I should have been told that to begin with. 35 min later second pizza finallyshows up. No apologies, no discount, no anything. Again tried to be patient and understanding but when you don?t own yourmistakes and do nothing about it I can?t support you. This is the third time I ordered take out and I have to stand by the three strike rule . I live on the shoreline and want to... support the locals but you really need to step it up . I ordered a hamburger deluxe twice . First time came charred , rock hard, second time so much Mayo or whatever that sauce was .. it was drowning in it . I couldn?t even pick it up it was soggy andfell all apart , Fries undercooked and soggy. Ordered the fried calamari and twice it was more like it was boiled . Light pale yellow in color , soggy and rubbery . I was in food service for more than thirty years , these are easy items , you reallyneed to do better . Online order for a sausage and pepperoni calzone, large pepperoni and a Garden Salad with grilled chicken. Bothe the pie and... calzone were tasty, but the reason why I gave them four stars was because they forgot to include the grilled chicken with theorder. I called them back and this very nice lady on the other side was very sorry about the mishap. She offered to give us arefund, which we accepted. Read more
Just moved here about 9 months ago near Genaros and came for pizza the other evening. We were very pleased to have a perfectly... cooked crust and a delicious topping. We ordered the Margarita with the red sauce. We have eaten pizzas at many differentplaces and Genaros is on our list as one of the best. The staff was also excellent! We will be returning to try some of theother dishes on their menu. Read more
My family orders from Genaros often, so I was happy to give it a try. The prosciutto and mozzarella grinder was a MAJOR... disappointment. The pic on the menu showed a panini-type grinder. What I received was untoasted bread and ham. What I had wasnot prosciutto. My calzone was okay. As you see from the pic, the top was a little well done. The cheeses and the extra saucemade up for the deficiency. My kids had lobster ravioli and fettuccine alfredo and they were very pleased. Me, not so much,hence the three stars. Read more
