Reviews for Dockside Seafood and Grill in Branford, CT
It?s a local favorite. Never really had a bad meal here. We had a group of 18 and it took us about 3hrs for all of us to start... with drinks then appetizers then dinner and coffee and dessert. We all left very happy and full. It can get very crowded andsuper busy. If you have a large group make a reservation in advance. Service was good and food came out hot and all together. There was an amazing sunset with a view of the marina next door. A good size patio as well as tables indoors. The so close forthe cold season beginning Oct 15th I think. Read more
Pictured is Orecchiette with Lobster. This was amazing. If you love pasta and lobster please go there to try it. It is one of... the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Highly recommend this dish. The restaurant itself was nice. Right inside a marina withwater views. Good seating outside and inside. Service was great! Will go back again and eat some more Orecchiette with Lobster! Read more
Picked this place at random for an impromptu lunch. I had Shrimp Scampi and my fiance had fish and chips. We both had wings and... New England clam chowder and it was delicious! I was a little disappointed that the Shrimp Scampi wasn't over pasta as I hadthought when I ordered it, but it still tasted great. Not cheap but not too expensive if you don't get alcohol. I think we spentless than $90 for the two of us Read more
3 stars for the ambiance, wine, and oyster lunch my grandmother had. 1 star for this sad excuse for a prime steak sandwich. If I... knew I had to bring my own meat slicer I wouldn?t have ordered this sandwich, which was basically a giant piece of steak on abun. (Picture is after I tried to slice the steak and design my own sandwich). Not quite sure how the cook who thought up thisdish envisioned how it should be consumed. Kind of awkward to eat a giant steak w fat and all on a bun. Would love to see howthat goes down. Read more
Beautiful location at a marina with water views and lots of outdoor shaded seating. Service was great and food was good.... Seafood menu with many options. Everything we had was cooked well and fried seafood was not greasy. If you are looking for aNew England seafood spot with great views this is the place. Read more
Just out for a drive along the shoreline with my soul mate. We arrived to this quaint tucked away restaurant I found online. We... decided to sit on the patio to enjoy the sunset and be able to see the water. Our waitress was amazing, very kind, sweet, andknowledgeable. There was a table beside us which sat a beautiful family. The drinks were so delicious, but when the food arrivedmy mouth began to water. We ordered a captain's platter of various fried seafood. I'm not much of a fried food eater, but thebatter was light, crispy, not too salty, and fresh. Everything was so inviting and romantically delicious. We will definitelyreturn. Read more
