Please don’t order anything to eat from here! Anyone who believes this food is good obviously does not cook at home and... neither did their mother. I had the sweet potatoes, greens, chicken and dumplings, and roll. The roll is fried and sopping withgrease, the greens are just gross, and the sweet potatoes are the canned ones someone took and made their own. I’ve had a 12year old bake a better peach cobbler. My cousin took me here after a work day to get a good steak. He ordered just the regular sirloin and I did the same thing. The... steak I was served was cooked perfectly and was probably two inches thick. I was very happy with my meal and even took my familyback a few days later for my wife's birthday. My wife ordered the filet and it was like butter. I can't come here every daybecause it's a little expensive but it is DEFINITELY worth the price we paid. Update: Willy B’s reversed the charges to our credit card without any prompting or me asking. I appreciate them taking care... of that. ————— I would rate the food but we walked out empty-handed. Instead I’ll rate my experience: We are notfrom Jackson, but we were here visiting our daughter, son-in-law, and their new baby. We placed an online order at 3:45pm onSunday for pickup that same day at 5:45pm. The plan was to bring the new family a nice dinner and have a visit with them. Theyasked us to be there at 6:00 to coordinate with our granddaughter’s feeding and sleep schedule. When we arrived on site thestaff appeared as if they weren’t expecting us. A few minutes later they told us our order was in the kitchen and would be outshortly. The order was three blue plates, one seafood basket and two appetizers, totaling around $120. As we waited, anotherperson who was also waiting for their carry-out order was approached by one of the staff. They came and apologized to the otherpatron as it appeared they had given their food to someone else and they were going to have to remake it. I thought “Thatsucks, but nice of them to own it.” I was also impressed with the speed in which they remade the order. I believe they evengave them free deserts. We continued to wait, watching the person get their re-make, as well as seven other carry-out customerscome and go. We also watched at least two parties come, dine in, and leave. We waited patiently as the staff continued toapproach us, saying our order was in the kitchen. One of the staff even offered the excuse that sometimes online orders don’tmake it in. Despite that, my credit card showed a hold for the charge so I felt that a weak excuse at best. We haven’t been in quite a while but heard good things recently so gave them a try and the Grilled Redfish topped with crab... sauce that I had was amazing. Even the zucchini and yellow squash medley was really good and seasoned perfectly. Service wasgreat, food was great and my husband loved his seafood pasta. Excellent service. Consistently great staff. A lot of choices but great at all of them. Easy choice for a group that can’t... decide what to eat. They have something for everyone in your party! Still reasonably priced despite all the skyrocketed prices.My favorite rez restaurant. Also great to catch a football game and a cold draft at their pool hall. Read more
