Taste of Detroit gets a 5 star for my first visit. They didn?t look open because the sign on the building is missing but while... waking out a store next door I noticed a banner hanging above their door that said ?we?re open? so I stopped by.. Inside wasclean and had nice wall decor. The lady who took my order was nice. The order didn?t take very long. Everything was good. Plentyof chicken on the pita wrap and good flavor for $12 with drink and fries. Took my mom and one of her friends to lunch here (DEFINITELY not my first time). My mom ordered the grilled chicken salad, she... said it was like being back home in Detroit. Her friend ordered the Philly steak n cheese ????????????. I ordered the dblConey's n Chilli cheese fries(would've preferred the cheese sauce). If a Coney dog doesn't have that snap it's not real and Iwant my money back. Not the case at all here, EVERYTHING here is authentic Detroit. Read more
Very clean restaurant with great customer service. Lots of options on the menu. Their wings were the best of our three meals. ... Came out crispy & hot out the fryer! The Philly cheesesteak fries were good & well seasoned. My daughter ordered a burger thathad bacon & shrimp on it. I thought it was a strange combination so only 1/2 of it was eaten. I will be back. I came here to try their grilled chicken pita and my bf got their triple cheese burger. Everything was fresh off the grill,... patties were moist with just enough fat, cheese was nicely melted. My grilled chicken pita was ok. There was so much food forthe price. Place is clean, people are friendly. It's just not my kind of food, I like more light and healthy. When I ordered thegrilled chicken pita, I didn't know it would be smothered in cheese and fatty sauces. It became way too heavy for me, I felt allfatigue after my meal. If you're looking for a cheap big bite of diner style food, this is a good spot. Read more
The lady I spoke too on the phone was rude, and they were out of catfish. We still decided to get food from here anyway. The... burger was not good. Plain, flat patty with no flavor. The fries were just awful! They claim they are seasoned fries but theywere tough and had barely any seasoning at all. The onion rings were pretty good but super greasy. The grilled chicken pita wasBOMB. The chicken was juicy and delicious. And the Philly cheesesteak was good, but not the best by far. Prices are high. Wespent $60. Definitely not worth it. I may go back for the chicken pita, but if the staff is rude again, I'll never come back. Read more
